Update - while it might be possible to use with 'render it' for the TAA, it could be best to not use it at all, and just find TAA somehow else. May be via nvidia control panel or AMD
I think you need to look at a mod like Render It for that feature.
Softer lightning is better then nothing of course, but turning them off completly would be a god send to this game
@Baldovino I’d need more information about the error you get. What’s the error message? Which other mods do you have active?
I respect and thank every mod creator, but I have to admit that after 9 years, the simplest and most effective mods in terms of light and shadow effects are still those from 8 years ago.
this 4 mods combination still cannot be replaced, such as' Render It! ',' Lumina ', and' Relight '. Although these complex mods are more flexible and free, they require patience to adjust the values. Most players just want to achieve a simple and beautiful light and shadow effect.
What I most want to adjust is the part of the building that faces away from the light. The latest Mod [Natural Lighting] can replace [Daylight Classic], but still cannot fully replace [Softer Shadows]
Yes, Theme Mixer also changes the lighting configuration so it is marked incompatible as well. I'm currently thinking about an "I know what this means, enable anyway" mode for Natural Lighting which would apply its settings regardless of incompatible mods as "Compatibility" here only means that all the mentioned mods can change the lighting and not crash or anything.
But thanks, I updated the docs here to reflect the situation with Theme Mixer 2 and 2.5.
In the log file, this line is found: [NaturalLighting] Detected incompatible mods Theme Mixer 2.5.
Grateful if you can clarify the compatibility situation of this mod.
Can you please take a look at your debug log file? See this guide on how to find it: https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=463645931 (scroll down to "Finding the log file"). Inside that file look for a line that starts with "[NaturalLighting] Detected incompatible mods [...]". Paste that entire line here, please. It will contain the names or steam id's of the incompatible mods.

How can still detect incompatibilities
