Scanning sounds still there. Too annoying with instant scan mod.

I am sorry but this mod still does not work for me, the Bioscanner drone still has all the sounds.
I tried deleting & redownloading all the mods, verifying steam game files, making sure mods are all enabled in the main menu Mods panel and starting several new custom-difficulty campaigns.
Aside from this mod i am also using the "Scanner Drones - Simplified Research Tree" which is also not working for me, and the "Scanner Drones - Instant Scan" which is working properly for me.
I do not know what could the issue be.

Now detector drone does not make a sound.

So i tried this mod on a brand new custom campaign and it does not work (all the scanner drone sounds are still there).
Its enabled in the Mods menu in the main menu and everything.
I tried redownloading via steam workshop.
Also is this supposed to affect the Geoscanner drone or just the Bioscanner drone?
