Just updated. Currently active settings in the SecretMenu will be saved per save game, and loaded for that save. Each save will load the settings it had active on save. New Games will always start with all settings turned off.

This fixes the issues of the buttons not working properly between saves.

Known Issue: Hotkey for toggling the toolbar button is broken.

Looks like theres something going wrong when saving/loading with the menu settings enabled. Working on a fix but for now you can do the following steps.

Temp Fix:
Disable all Secret Menu settings.
Save the game.
Load that new save.
Enable Secret Menu settings.

Everything will work again.

Almost the same thing here. After installing it for the first time, the mod allowed me to build an entire base. After loading the game a few days later, it stopped working, and starting a new game didn't change anything. I can no longer build infinitely.

Just tested, no issues. If you want to send me your save on discord or something Ill give it a look.

The strange thing was, I was able to build out an entire base with my other game, and I didn't even need my characters to touch anything. I try a different map, and boom doesn't work at all.

Trying to use the mod now, I've turned it on, and I am trying to build without materials. Won't work on my new save, no idea why?

It would be a different mod if so. This mod isnt meant to do anything much outside of the developer/debug tools already in game. It gives a menu with the most likely to be used tools and access to full debug tools without needing to use the developer branch of the game. fwiw, theres many tools in there and a right click menu for characters also, just not an in game character editor.

@Satoru, Going Medieval has a mod that allows you to change traits, skill levels, potential and many other things by simply pointing at the thing and scrolling with MMB (it went trough the entries one by one in the category, if there were more stuff affecting the category, you needed ctrl/shift/alt+MMB scroll). It was a single dll file if I remember correctly. Any chance for something similar to change the traits and stuff from characters midgame?

Something like that would have to be a new mod. Id consider it after the game is out of EA and v1.0

I do have that mod enabled, only works for the initial nobles when starting a new game (far as i seen), what i want to do is re-edit the skills/potential of nobles that you recruit.

Ahhh yeah, my bad. Probably should make that part more clear :D Glad you got it sorted. I'll update that mod at some point soon with a fix for the hotkey

I've been trying that. Right alt + M. tried setting it to other keybinds (all seem to have to use right alt). But nothing happens. the secret menu and debug buttons are still on the ui.

Click the buttons again. They are toggles. You can change the SM hotkey in settings. Default r. alt +m

is there a way to hide the menu again? also i clicked character debug menu. is there a way to turn this off again, to remove the extra debug info? Same with having selected full debug checkbox, after unselecting the debug button on the screen ui persists.

I'd really like a way to change sexuality too. I forgot to change it when I changed the gender in the intro.

Hi, how do I edit characters? I have found only right click that can change traits. I need to change skills, what character loves and hates.

The button in the screenshot was removed as its old and no longer viable. The new character editor is more easily accessible from each characters menu. The old or new ones dont allow changing age either way

Can we use Character Editor button please?, I need to be youth before die of old age.

Load order not needed, maybe try to unsub and sub again? No issues that i know of currently

can we get a button to reroll sexuality, had set my character to straight for the purpose of havin the dynasty but for some reason it flipped to gay, and I didnt notice until 8hrs into my playthrough when I finally got an alter up... smh
