@julian.binder10: The new unit I mentioned earlier (AT-ST) has been released just a few minutes ago. I hope you enjoy the new STAR WARS walker, however, my next unit is probably going to be from outside the STAR WARS universe.

just tried out the updated version, and it is a massive improvement. thank you very much for the extra effort you put into this mod. you just helped make the game even more enjoyable

I just uploaded a patch that improves the animation speed (mentioned by @Awesomespaceball) and decreases the reflection (AT-ATs look less like chromium now and more like in the movies).
Please try it out and give me feedback!

@julian.binder10: I am actually already working on another Star-Wars-related unit. I can make no promises however because I am facing some challenges with animating the unit. So it is good to know that there is demand for more!

@Awesomespaceball: Agreed. I spent several hours trying to figure it out, since I also find the mismatch with the animation speed annoying. UEBS2's settings for animation multipliers and performance optimizations (LOD) seem to not be optimized for such large objects yet. I plan to retry it as soon as there is a new update to UEBS2's mod system, or if a modder or developer can give me a hint. I hope that you can enjoy the AT-ATs nonetheless!

it would be nice if you could sync up the movement speed with the animation speed, since it now looks more like they are skating than actually walking

I am happy to see that you guys enjoy the mod! Wow, it got more than 300 downloads on its first day! It is nice to see that I was able to make so many people smile by searching an AT-AT model and figuring out how to best run it in UEBS2. For that reason, @julian.binder10, I definitely consider to add more content. I can however not promise anything. It depends on if I find suitable 3D models on the Web and if I find them fun to implement.

Hi @julian.binder10, thanks for downloading my mod! Please try the following in UEBS2: Go to "Sandbox", "Character Customization", select "at at" in the upper right corner, change the attack range to your liking, save it e.g. as "better at at" and add the "better at at" to your battlefield. UEBS2 gives players the opportunity to change most parameters to their liking. Please let me know if the higher-ranged version of the AT-AT is more fun. I personally prefer the setting of the AT-AT slowly walking through the bullet storm unharmed and finishing off enemy groups from a relative proximity of 100m, but this depends on situation and personal taste. But if many players agree with you I could increase the default.
