I would strongly doubt this needs an update. But try it and let me know. Any issue would be minor, this is just a small localization mod and vanilla does nothing with these tooltips

This mod is incredibly lightweight. The data being shown is already being evaluated by the game and used in other vanilla tooltips. This mod just also has the panel button tooltips print it out too.

The mod seems nice, but does it have a performance cost or is the data evaluated only when the tooltips are opened?

Partially. Some of the grey text won't have translations, but some will if its part of the text generated by the script function.

Just added colonial growth details to population, player liberty desire to diplomacy and a tooltippable power bloc name/icon with further info to power bloc.

I did also check the mods were up-to-date, but that didnt bear any fruit either. Might just some compatability issue or paradox spaghetti code again.

the issue was, that i had no other mods that affected the visual side of really anything. most of my mods were quality of life mods, so they were easy to eliminate mid-save. Strangely, the issue did improve greatly after disabling this mod.

Yes, the mod will include some sort of gfx element. Have a look at what your installed mods do and when they were last updated (i.e. if it was before 1.7). This is purely a localization/text mod. Not sure what made you suspect this mod was worth investigating as the cause lol.

Fair enough, the bottom most error occured again, and the game crashed, even if the game did last 2 hours longer than before, so there seems to be some other mod breaking on me.

I can guarantee you this mod did not cause your crashes.

That error occurs for when mods that have been loaded in to the cache or previous saved games have since been deleted, hence it not saying what the file is and all pointing to line 1. It's a completely harmless error, but its a bit annoying if you try to stay on top of the error log, yeah.

While using this mod I did get a few crashes when opening some windows, like the diplomacy screen, but it was not consistant. This is what my crash logs error.log had inside, the failed to read key line is spammed through the whole log.

Just tested, this is working as normal and its not causing errors. I might be able to revisit this soon and see if theres any new info I can call within the tooltips.

Petro I would assume you had other mods active that caused errors.

Petro, please give me time to update. Most mods would have broken due to unexpected changes to some of the vanilla file structures and modifier rework. I appreciate that you are trying to be helpful, but i'm working on it.

Nah, this mod just overwrites the text of panel (which remains on the left) button tooltips, so this will likely never break from an update

suggestions for unutilised tabs:
Buildings - show number of building sin country that have less than 75% employment
Cultures - show amount or % of discrimnated pops
Journals - show when the next journal entry times out
