I will definetly use this mod going forward. The few new worlds I have seen look better than the vanilla ones by a significant margin. Thank you so much for this.

Ah, I see it now. I was looking through the files, trying to find out, if there was a flag that set a tile as fantastical, but missed it until now.

Both. With fantasy on you will get fantasy tiles, like for example the PDX logo and also fantasy spawning scenarios.

I appreciate you answering all my questions, but after messing around with the mod a bit, I have one more:
Are the spawned tiles influenced by the "fantastical" setting or only the nations that are placed on them?

Well for the lacking part you can occasionally get less provinces than vanilla ofc, or bad trade connections, or both. This mod is stable in MP, yeah.

That goes even for the "30% lacking in an area"? Why I am asking is that I would like to use this mod and just dive in without having to check beforehand how the New World looks to keep the surprise.
But If you say they all have more, I will definetly try this mod for my next playthrough.
Is it stable for multiplayer, too?

Usually these RNW generations have actually more provinces than vanilla.

My main issue with vanilla RNW is that they are severely lacking in province count. Does this mod make them at least similar in count to the Americas or are does the "30% lacking in an area" mean they have way less provinces?

I formed the Obsidian Empire and it bugged out like crazy.
Not only did it set all ideas, mana, and other stuff to 0, it also left a couple of my former nation's provinces alive, didn't delete their armies, moved the new capital to a province next to the original one, gave me 100 armies in that capital and 100 1-ship fleets at a random port (which set my economy to a monthly -850 ducats), and then it immediately crashed the game as soon as I unpaused for half a second, as I was about to reconquer my original capital.
No other mods besides Stellairs Font, Additional Alerts, and Colored Mapmodes were on.

@kirksanderson7 you need to press the random new world button to get the map to generate, and it will be random each time. If you want to see the result make sure to uncheck "terra incognito in lobby" under your game options which should be accessible from the same screen.

Super dumb question, but I'm a total rookie with using mods. Do I still hit 'random new world' at the start screen? Or is just having the mod in my playset enough? (Also, I'm using the RNW Middle Earth mod as well).

I am not. Not even a font mod or anything.

Though I am using Xorme AI and Responsible blobbing, the crashes seem to be unrelated and both of these mods are light and seem to work as intended.

If you have crashes when opening menus you are using some interface mods together that dont go together. This mod does not change anything about that kind of stuff. Occasional crashes when generating can happen.

I should mention that I am using the FULLY random new world submod as well.
Also, I'd like to point out that some nations start off with diplomatic relations with other nations from across the map, including vassalage and independence guarantors,

Very cool mod, although for me it is unplayable due to the constant crashing- both when generating worlds and when opening menus when playing.

If Ante Bellum uses the vanilla map it should work. If not adjusting it to a new map is quite difficult and can be impossible depending on their design.

Editing trade routes in a save can be very dangerous for future crashes. Would not advise doing that. It should in theory be possible to edit it if done correctly, but who knows what it may cause in the end. Trade nodes are quite crashy in general.

Do you know if there's a way to edit a generated world's trade nodes?
Editing the save file seems to remove the connections after 1 month.
I tried manually adding a new tradenodes.txt file but that didn't work either.

Is this working with "Custom nation mission trees"?
This mod just changes the custom nation score and gives them a focus tree based on the culture.

Make sure you have the mentioned checksum from down there when only running this mod. That should make sure that you no longer have the corrupted file somehow.

my game is still crashing, i tried 3 times and uninstalled then reinstalled the 2 mods. it might just be because im using a work computer for gaming and it cant run the mod though, im gonna maybe try switching the mod loading order and see if it works

It was certainly a corrupt file here. Make sure you have the cecksum of 4982 with only this mod active. If you dont have this checksum, make sure the mod updated for your properly. The best way to ensure is is to delete the mod files by hand and then redownload the files.

Fantasy new worlds generate with too many Catholics in comparison to Sunni,or Shinto. Makes exploration less interesting would be better with a different bias. Would be nice if maybe it was weighted towards Zoroastrian or Shinto or Shia for a change.

You can go into the options on the bottom left before generating and set the probability of fasntasy generations. On low it basically never happens.
