@Taitiger Thanks for the kind words! I know what you mean about the mods and DLC. I'm not the best at writing scripts and am unfortunately a one man show so I do have to pick and choose my battles. The weapon mods should work through the arsenal. But vehicles and units are all hand scripted so it would be a nightmare to add everything by hand. As stated down below I do hope to make time to add DLC maps with proper units. Another ray of hope is that I am currently working on an extraction shooter mode that requires UI work. I hope to use some of that to extend better store interfaces for THIS mode. In doing so i hope to have better mod support for vehicles. ONE DAY I might develop unit pools so that i can support mod and DLC units but that's also a lot of work.

Either way hope you continue to play and check out the other maps. If you like extraction shooters stick around...but don't worry I'm always fiddling with Invasion trying to make it better.

i love the game mode just wish the maps support the cup mods or dlc but still love it

TL:DR; Yes, but it wont be for a while. Stratis, I can do but I am not sure how fun it will be. If you convince me why I should do Stratis I might spend a weekend getting it out lol.


Like I said I can do Stratis but its so small I'm not sure how well it will play. Livonia and most of the other DLC/Creator DLC maps I was holding out until I had time to swap out all the assets with only the DLC appropriate stuff. So the factions would be the DLC factions and the weapons etc...etc. However that will take some time. It's a lot of code to go over and I will also have to redesign the FOB and enemy outposts and what not as well to be more appropriate for factions. I work full time though so I am not sure when I'll have time to get back around to it.

@dvd.brewster see now that makes me wonder if its map specific...or if it only happens on the host end maybe. I'll have play around and see if i can find it. Ive seen it and have had one complaint about it. so i know it real...just rare.

May have come up with a solution for the infinite exploding vehicles. I think when a unit is downed but not killed and gets stuck in a vehicle its causes the vehicle wreck to freak out. I will be testing this theory this weekend. Any one dealing with this bug please let me know here of the bugs topic on any of the maps or the collection. Please give as many details as possible. Thank You!

@dvd.brewster i noticed on dedicated the camo net take almost 2 minutes sometimes to become oriented the right direction....and i had a few instances where the command kiosk just vanished for no good reason...so i pretty sure a redesign on the FOP composition is needed. Keep the problems coming i need as much help as i can get on the testing side. If i had more time i start a dischord community...but work and irl etc etc..

NP.. Is it possible to reposition the support and command kiosks at the FOP, the camo net interferes with them because of the way they are facing..

@dvd.brewster let me know if you have a run in with vehicles making endless exploding sounds after they get blown up. I've only experienced it twice other people are claiming its every time they play. I am having trouble reproducing it consitently for troubleshooting. Thanks.

Y I played yesterday, found the fop stuff still broken, Surely your mission does provide a viewpoint of sector control, in that you must be be prepared b4 you enter the field, as trips bac to the fop for support is time consuming. NME's are tough..

Been messing around with the dedicated server i have most the FOP stuff worked out minus one last nagging issue. Next is the revive and auto medic stuff. I didn't realize how screwed up i had the locality on some of the stuff because no one ever wants to test with me lol!

@Pybro LOL! I am not opposed to porting it over to Stratis. Just figured it was so small no one would care. For some weird reason i thought Tanoa would be the more popular map but Altis is for sure for more popular.

@dvd.brewster I will poke around tonight see if i can find the locality issue. I'm hoping in a week or two to have some time to finally get it loaded on the dedi and see whats what.

Its loading in dedi, however the hummingbird doesn't deploy the fop when select deploy the fop

@dvd.brewster I have quickly went through the code to see what was hanging up the generation on dedicated. I MAY have fixed it. I say again though just to be clear: DEDICATED SERVER HAS NOT BEEN TESTED YET. It's probably broken. I will be testing dedicated server soon.

seems that the parameters aren't being read on dedi server, causes character to freeze, and won't load in. Just 'generating' forever.

@OzzieHouso Not sure if it works with dedicated just yet. It's mostly meant to be hosted. However I will be making sure it does work on dedicated soon. I wrote it to work either way just have not had the ability to test it on the dedicated server yet.

Had a go of this tonight with five friends. Set up a small scenario with three zones. It was a lot of fun and played out well. Only real issue we encountered was with the revive system, which didn't seem to work. I could see enemy AI trying to revive downed AI, which was cool, but when we tried to revive downed colleagues it would either give us a "revive" option that didn't seem to revive, or at other times it gave a different option to use an FAK, but again it didn't seem to revive. The respawn and fast travel meant it wasn't too much of an issue, but if it is something you can rectify it would be good. We'll definitely be playing this one again; thank you.

No there is no faction selection. All the scenarios are NATO vs CSAT or the pacific variants for Tanoa.

this mine be a dumb question but can you choose your faction? like with dlc or mods
