3x it's too much from my point of view, there are older maps on my workshop with only one row of high walls , maybe those maps will accommodate something like 3x

Hoonting Richard Hello ! I don't know if it will work with Expanded Japan , only if the vanilla castles work it should work with any mod . For the second question , you can easy make them in one mod using rpfm rusted packfile manager , you find info on using it on internet, you just use rpfm to open one of my files, add the others and then save it, after that put it in the data folder , and it should work .

Nice castles. I got problems with pathfinding with extreme large armies (3x) and I'm thinking about using new siege maps.

1) Are these castles working with Expanded Japan? I've tried SOTS and Tenka Fubu Castles but wasn't able to properly load them.

2) Could you regroup al castles in a single mod? Would help a lot with the limit (Max 40 mods i heard)

The only problem I've encountered using these castle mods with FOTS is that it would cause 'Total FOTS' to crash on startup, though I'm sure it would with any T.C.
I haven't been able to see if every castle works and I think the only way I'd see if star forts would crash is if I modded the AI to hard focus them and made building castles super cheap since the AI loves not developing their provinces.

I didn't play FOTS but if on campaign map the level of a castle looks the same as one from Sengoku Jidai , it might work for some castles .

Not sure if it's intended but this seems to work fine on FOTS. Though I've not encountered a star fort so I don't know how that would turn out.

How do you add these maps in campaign? I'd like to do it myself but I have no knowledge about it. I can only edit some values but maps are beyond me.

maxime.ricard92 Hello ! And thank you for your feedback and for appreciating my work . A few days ago I updated only the level 1 and 2 for HC (harbour castle ) as the troops were deploying undergroung as the inner castle space was too low . In one or two weeks I will upload level 5 maps modified as improvement from my point of view , I'm working now on the last one fortified monastery level 5 . The other maps won't get any more improvements probably and the project will be closed . I believe these will be good maps for the next years for anyone experiencing shogun 2 .

no problem! and yeah, i seem to get some weird crashes when i load the castle maps on their own with some other mods, particularly those that affect sound files like music replacements or sound fixes, though i'm not sure why that is (or whether that's just an issue on my end). i wouldn't sweat it too much. i look forward to seeing the improved level 5 maps though, keep up the good work!!

owl boy thank you for your feedback , for full experience subscribe to the collection, there shouldn't be any compatibility issues with the castle maps , only maybe with the matchlock mod from the collection and climbing mod maybe , it depends , soon I will upload some improved level 5 maps .

really nice maps! they both look and play very well. it's a shame a lot of mods struggle with compatibility issues, but it seems pretty unavoidable atp. nice work though!!

ZXZVZZVZXZXVZVXZXZVZZVZXZ Hello ! Thank you for your feedback and for appreciating my work . Indeed the maps are built for 20 defending units with 340 units of ashigaru as example .

Harbour castle level 1 and 2 will need a remake as it seems there is a kind of bug( i think the wall enclosure is too small) when player gets the defender role and needs to deploy manually otherwise the troops can get underground .

Yes , put deep water it to -10 , also shallow water put it to -0,9339 so it doesn't flicker , then you can use smooth on edges .

Is there a way to turn the shallow water on the maps into "deep water" so its not passable?
