@SGT JOHNSON, Sorry to hear that. What seems to be the issue? Can you manually connect to the other antenna? Do both systems work on both sides? Do they connect when closer together?

if its all good with you, im slowly working on a long range solar drone system and the antenna range is the issue, if its good with you can i use this system for a hub-antenna-satellite-drone system for the workshop

@Amber6513b, very odd. Did you copy over the whole block system, controller included? Can both cameras see each other? Does the indicator indicate a connection? Is electricity connected? If you would tell me what exactly you are experiencing, I would be happy to help you troubleshoot your issue.

For some reason, they can never find each other. Can't find each other from the moon, or 20 feet apart, they don't work, it's not your fault the RX directionals just don't work for me and I have no idea why. please help

@white Noise, that has been suggested to me before. At some point, I might update it with that feature, but don't get your hopes up. The issue is that it would require a complete redesign of the whole system, requiring a custom camera system.

Hey a quick idea could you make it auto seek towards a specfic gps coradante instead of having it blindly seek for unmanded stations

@dogtherevenger, mine is very simple. I carefully adjusted the camera and dish to line up perfectly, such that when a target is detected, the camera is seeing the same object.

I just completely removed coordinates and orientation from the equation.

The challenge was to not be able to know where the satellite was every time and where the ICBM was every time. I also couldn't understand how your thing worked.

I managed to make the rx dishes search like a radar for signal strength! they work really well

Hello @dogtherevenger, that is a lot more complicated than anything I have, I would recommend getting a space coordinate pointer from the workshop (used for targeting systems) and mounting one of the rx dishes to it, maybe with my display, for looks?

do you have a simplified MC version? Where I just feed it coordinates and it points to the location. Working on a satellite and this is the only thing that might work. it's gotta work without a compass

@Daclundunk, The antenna direction is controlled by the w/s and a/d keys. It has a limited view angle, so be aware of that. To point the whole antenna system, cut and paste (using the select tool) the whole camera and antenna system, making sure to keep them in the same orientation. This is covered in "How to install into your build" section.

@good guy, This is just an example to connect two directional antennas together, not a how to use a radio example. Nonetheless, all you need is to have one dish set to transmit, send a push signal to turn on the search mode, and then wait for it to connect to the receiver. Then just send data, video, etc. through the transmitter and receive it with the receiver.

@ Dolphin, these dishes do not. The large dish has a range of 10,000 km, and the distance from the earth and moon is about 400,000 km.

@Tractorboy1235, Use the select tool to cut and paste the dish and camera part to your chosen position. Then cut and paste the seat and display to the interior of the craft, making sure to merge the bodies together using the body tool.

@Tractorboy1235 What? If you want to put this on the station, just copy paste the dish and camera (in any orientation) both facing the same direction and reasonably close together.
