I think it would be a great edition to add back into the default game but we'll have to see what the developers decide to do.
Personally I would have it delete any existing army that was patroling the city beforehand when a new patrol army is created if the developers were to re-add his functionally to the game.
As it is used to be part of the game?
Why was it removed?
If your using a controller you need to press the reinforce vassal option before the Guard and Patrol options became visible to you.
I've tried this on several different devices with it working on each one, even the steam deck that requires downloading the paradox launcher externally.
So in essence the only 2 mods I have in common with the poster beneath me are Age of Colours and Banner Bonanza ^^ 90% of my mod list is tome stuff related or cosmetic, so I really can't imagine why it wouldn't work.
I also only tested with only this mod active and I can't get the menu buttons to show up. Tested with a vassallized free city. I also tried unsubbing and subbing. It's a mystery :D
Age of Colors
Repeatable Rites
Banner Bonanza
Empire Skill Costs doubled - custom personal mod to increase the cost of Empire Skills
Slower Slow Game Speed - custom personal mod to slow down game speed
What mods are you guys using?
I am not seeing the new options as well. Mod is downloaded and activated. I am using other mods, but I am sure they are not editing the same file. Have you resolved the situation?
I've not seen any other mods that seem to edit the rules of vassals.
