@DramaLama Is it intended that free cities become near impossible to vassalize? When I give them a whispering stone, instead of the usual 6-8 turns before the next level toward vassalization there is 50-100 turns to an eldritch pact. I'm not playing as an eldritch lord, and it doesn't matter what race the city is, I get the same result.

Not sure exactly what is causing the issue but this mod is making every free city into Umbral Dwellings instead of the default Free City type.

I believe it was originally added to show people that the "defend city" option meant they would stand on its city. But it was decided it was not needed and so it was disabled.

I think it would be a great edition to add back into the default game but we'll have to see what the developers decide to do.

Personally I would have it delete any existing army that was patroling the city beforehand when a new patrol army is created if the developers were to re-add his functionally to the game.

Is it possible to make a mod that allows you to take a province from a vassal? just like you change provinces between your cities.

I am running the latest version of the game.

You may have to re-install the game, do you own the expansions? This shouldn't require any of the expansions just the latest version of the game. But any differences with your version would help to know.

have you enabled the mod in the launcher? i've tried installing the mod on a new device and everything seems to be working.
