This attachment is equipped with passive torpedoes.
It basically moves towards the nearest sound source.
Depending on the strength of the sound, you may end up tracking something other than the target you want to aim at.
When I used it in a multiplayer environment with a friend, it was more likely to hit a rescue raft on the surface than the nearest nuclear submarine...

BTW the torps are they Active torpedos or Passive torpedos? because they ignore Noise makers but dey do not ignore other things that makes a lot of noise the new submarine on the workshop called Project 710 has a decoy with two modes one is high power mode and other is low power mode it goes after the low power one because its atiny electric generator that acts as noise maker
