@Lucas van der Spin, @xxx_MLGDOGE_xxx ETS2 has actual tire stats, so I don't see the need to change them. Just research which tires are the best.

ETS2 version would be nice. Tire grip in ETS2 just sucks.

There's a report from the North American Council for Freight Efficiency on the reduced rolling resistance of wide base tires. It has some pretty good info on super single tires. Just search for NACFE CONFIDENCE REPORT: Low Rolling Resistance Tires. You should check it out.

I play with frosty, the winter weather modd, and its physics addon. How will this work with that?

@Dirty Rever, I can't really reproduce your problem. In my game, everything is like before the update. Maybe you have another tire mod installed, or your tires are very worn out? What truck and tires do you use?

@Dirty Rever, that's interesting. I didn't think a WoT event update would change anything. I will take a look at it.

Hate to say this but it appears this last patch they did broke this mod. 65 mph in the rain on the highway truck flat out refuses to turn. Slide city also brakes are almost nonoperational. Everything was great day before yesterday (Didn't play yesterday) but today everything is back to the way it was before i added this mod. Amazing mod and a must have for sure. Please see if its fixable. Thank you.

@Big_Red_78, I have now finished my research on the damage system and released a mod that, among other things, reduces tire wear. I also created a companion guide on the new damage system in the game, which is definitely worth a read.

Oh so that explains it! I've had three accidents during the Christmas event and had to cancel my loads.
Maybe this will be a game changer so I can finish my runs without sliding into a snowbank.

The mod also helps with traction in the new Winterland map. Happy Christmas trucking, everyone!

@Big_Red_78 I was actually planning on learning how the new damage system works because I felt that tire wear is way too quick in the current state. If I find anything that can help with that, I will make a mod.

could you make a mod for less wear on tires like wear start at 50,000 miles or higher ?

I just released a new update for this mod which adds parameters to the Michelin Fan Pack DLC tires, since SCS again forgot to add them. No other tires changed with this update.

SCS has done this so many times. If you played the older 18WoS games, the tire grip was atrociously bad. I don't know why they think trucks understeer this badly and just slide everywhere as soon as any moisture hits the ground. Thanks for fixing that!

@turkeyraptor, as I wrote in the description, this mod only applies to SCS tires, as the parameters need to be added to each tire individually. From what I know, some of the modded tires already include them, like Smarty's wheel pack.

@Zeti Is this a problem in ETS too? Maybe next time I play it again I might make a similar mod, but that could take some time .

@Zero_CN_Reaper, @GT182 I was actually in the same situation. Every time it rained, I turned it off via the console, because I couldn't stand the slipperiness. I hope this mod makes it more enjoyable again to drive in the rain.

I actually turned down the "chance for rain" in ATS to almost no rain at all to fix the problem I was having in the rain. This sounds really good. Thank you for this mod ØnYx.

I was actually getting annoyed by the fact that i couldn't turn above 30mph at high speed curves in the rain that i put rain probability at 0%

SCS really needs to fix that among other things.
