Any thought of porting over Cathay units?

I think he is referring to a capability the first game had. Where you could split a chosen army into an amount of groups. Like turning a group of 500, into 2 groups of 250.

I'm not sure whether its possible and how to make a mod that changes how the game works unless I'm not understanding your idea exactly.
