@ppwilli Unfortunately not. To be completely honest I'm not sure what kind of logic is used to decide substitutions during the game after you hit the button - but either way, to my knowledge there is no way to change this

Is there a way to have more players substituted during the simulated matches using the FM24 instant result button? I want my youth players to get more game time too, not just the players with the same level always being substituted.

For anyone that is struggling with the install here is what I had to do:

Check if the skin is in the following folder path:
Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2024\skins

For me it was missing. It actually downloaded to this location:
Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\

And then sort the sub folders by the latest until you find the file.

Once you move the file to the first location it will work.

Just as a side note - the jimbo skin is not necessary to make this work. As stated in the description, this skin is totally default with the instant result button tacked on.

If it's not working for you, please look through my previous comments that detail exactly what you need to do to get it working.

I've subscribed to the Jimbo skin and this instant result one as well, but the instant result is not showing up in my saves. is there a special step I'm missing?

To update, I've been using this mod for since February and have literally never had any issues with it. If you're having issues MAKE SURE you have the Jimbo Skin mod installed and enabled along side it, and aren't just using the default FM2024 skin.

As some other people, not working with default FM 2024 skin, work perfectly with "Jimbo skin" for example

@mcic It seems to work for some and not for others. If you have a look through the comments, I have replied to some people previously with a list of possible fixes. As I have also previously said, this skin is not mine and I did not make it. I simply ported it onto the steam workshop to make things easier for myself, and anyone that may want to use it as well. Unfortunately this means I can't really update or fix the skin myself.

If you search "wannachup instant result skin" online, you'll find the direct download for the skin, as well as instructions on how to get it working that way. This should work perfectly fine.

I can confirm that Stalker's comment (see below) is correct and the instant result DOES work if you also subscribe to the Jimbo Skin and use both at the same time.

It doesn't seem to work with the default FM 24 skin.

However, it works if you have a skin from workshop. I subscribed to the Jimbo Skin and the Instant Result now appears.

But it would be great if it could work with the default skin. IMO, the default FM skin is better compared to the ones from the workshop.

I just tested here and the problem with the skin not showing in the game options is only with this skin. I tryed others and I was able to use them. I love this skin and hope it gets fixed

@stevedumontmarche If the skin does not appear in the skin selection menu in game, please try the solutions listed previously. Double checking the download, re-installing, or adding it to a collection. Sorry about the problems

Adding the file to another customs skin folder did the trick for me.

I couldn´t manage to integrate into the vanilla skin however.

If it appears in downloads but doesn't show up in game, reinstalling might work. This will include deleting all workshop folders and download folders associated with FM24 and addons, in both the FM and Steam folders.

Otherwise, closing all steam processes using task manager and running steam as administrator via windows search will help as well.

Unfortunately it seems to be a bug with the steam client that has been around for quite some time. I don't think there is anything I can do on my end, and nothing SI can do either.

I find it in documents and in steam downloads.

There will be a folder for each of your workshop downloads. Each one is just a number and that is the ID of the mod. The ID of the mod will be in the steam link of the workshop page. For example, the ID for this skin is "3075962558", so that will be the name of the folder. The ID for FM24 itself is "2252570".

Make sure that the mod is present in both your workshop downloads AND sports interactive > skins folder.

Thankyou guys for the feedback. I have a couple of things that may help the issue.

if the skin isn't appearing under the skins drop down menu in-game, make sure it is in your skins download folder.

If you go to documents > sports interactive > football manager 2024 > skins and it isn't in that folder, then that will be the issue.

Try to re-install the skin, and also check your workshop download location. You can open your local files for the game by going to the game in your library, right click and select properties > browse local game files, or you can just go to your download location of FM24) and find the workshop downloads folder.

How do i add it to collection?

Same here. I have also added it to collection and I have sub to the collection but cannot find it

I will have to look into the issue, as it seems to be working for some, but not others. In the meantime, try @Garry_GL's solution of adding it to a collection as well.

I subscribed and went to go check for the skin in the settings menu but I could not find the skin with the Instant result button skin, what am I missing?
