Instant Result Button

描述
Sometimes you just want to instantly simulate games as quickly as possible. Maybe they are insignificant, maybe you are just doing an experiment. Either way, an instant result button is always a nice thing to have.

I uploaded one last year, too. It's pretty much the same thing. The default FM24 skin with an instant result button added on. The button is on the team selection screen, and this years version also has the button during the match.

SOMETHING TO BARE IN MIND: With instant result buttons on some skins, your assistant manager will take the credit. I have seen instances in which people have won the league, and yet the assistant gets all of the credit and players have the assistant as favoured personnel. This skin DOES NOT do that. All credit will still be with you, and games will count on your record as if you have managed them yourself instead of skipping.

@ppwilli you can have a game plan for the instant result to use, tell them at what point change tactics and what subs to do and when during the game

@ppwilli Unfortunately not. To be completely honest I'm not sure what kind of logic is used to decide substitutions during the game after you hit the button - but either way, to my knowledge there is no way to change this

Is there a way to have more players substituted during the simulated matches using the FM24 instant result button? I want my youth players to get more game time too, not just the players with the same level always being substituted.

@DeDavini you should be able to apply the skin to any existing save games.

For anyone that is struggling with the install here is what I had to do:

Check if the skin is in the following folder path:
Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2024\skins

For me it was missing. It actually downloaded to this location:
Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\

And then sort the sub folders by the latest until you find the file.

Once you move the file to the first location it will work.

Just as a side note - the jimbo skin is not necessary to make this work. As stated in the description, this skin is totally default with the instant result button tacked on.

If it's not working for you, please look through my previous comments that detail exactly what you need to do to get it working.
