The Vertical on the sonar i can't figure out on how to use it, it seem not not work with the dial,i have the bearing done but the vertical i can't figure out on how or why it wont work

Hey, the patterns don't actually mean anything, they're generated randomly. If you have the speed and depth sensor hooked up to the controller, they will get denser as you get closer to the surface or go faster. This is to simulate increased noise generated by the own propeller.

I know its kind of a dumb question but, how do you use this thing? Like what do the patterns actually mean? I built my first sub and i am trying to find a good sonar

as an actual sonar tech, you have made me very happy. got back from an underway and the first thing I see is the stormworks sonar system of my dreams.

I have neither the time nor the aptitude for such an undertaking. I request some other genius create such a wonderful creation.
