@cookyvc (and anyone else trying to use this with Rep+) -- so I have looked in to this issue with Repentance+:

As noted before, Rep+ is a beta, and a bunch of the Lua modding API got borked. One of the font methods I use, GetStringWidth, which is used to calculate the width of the text bubble based on the text length, is always returning 0 in Rep+ -- unfortunately, with this being broken, I am unable to provide a fix for Rep+. As the DLC releases new updates/fixes, I will monitor for when it's fixed, but there is nothing I can do on my end to resolve this.

The amount of times this flower almost made me finally snap is amazing, I hate this mod. Thank you for making my isaac experience worse better

@cookyvc - I noticed that too -- I am a little iffy on "fixing" it right now -- Rep+ is at the time of writing still a beta, and it broke a lot of mods; I will see if it's a simple fix tomorrow to just get it working, but really hope they fix the issues in Rep+.

@NV - I'm working on that

Hello. In Rep+ it's bugged where the speech bubbles won't appear. Is it possible to fix? I love the mod and would hate to remove it.

great mod early on but after playing with it for some time those stupid "streamer" voice lines can get really annoying

Not 100% sure if it's the flowers in particular but the shops seem to occasionally crash upon entry? Doesn't seem to happen with the mod disabled as far as I'm aware.

@Ghost - Definitely not intended - will get around to fixing that; a little behind on updates due to real life stuff.

This mod is the best thing that happened to me this year. Absolutely perfect

toggling shopkeeper mode seems to ♥♥♥♥ with the game a little, as they are considered actual shopkeepers - which gives a gameplay advantage. you can blow them up for deal chance for example. but cool mod.

@HexaLair - If you wanna join the Discord I have linked, happy to chat about the VA stuff; I honestly haven't tried the mod in Repentagon yet, mostly because I know Repentagon breaks my main mod Twitching of Isaac; I'll get around to it this weekend and see what might be the cause. As for Home, yeah it's been on the TODO list, but some real world stuff came up and has me side tracked slightly - that content is definitely coming!

Also kinda specific request but my testing run with this mod went to Beast and while I do appreciate the Ascent specific flowers I was a bit upset to see none in Home, well actually that's a lie there was one in Home but he was in the Beast boss room and then Ultra War exploded him so what if the flower in the Beast arena had like the flying animation like they do in Wonder when they're floating and he was invincible so War wouldn't explode him randomly lol unless there isn't a way to make him comment on each phase as it happens would be kinda silly I think

Tried out this mod today it's pretty cool! However I think Repentagon kinda messes with it a bit as I got an error on load-up and flowers wouldn't appear in boss rooms (and also the one dice room I visited) probably because of that so fixing that would help

I don't really mind the AI voices also I mean this is a free mod with no real profit incentive but if you need like a flower va maybe hmu idk I think I can do a good enough talking flower voice lol

There's over 1000 custom audio files - that adds all the overhead on the mod size.

Yeah; I am working on an update with additional audio files, as well as going through and seeing which ones are a bit off - some of the oldest ones are the wonkiest and definitely need to be updated.

This is a great mod but some of the dialogue sounds pretty wonky. Maybe get better takes with the TTS AI or use one of those Real Time Voice Changer AIs so that you can voice act the dialogue while having it sound like the Wonder Flower.

This mod is a wonderful idea, but AI makes it feel soulless. I know voice acting is expensive and all and its just a little mod for free, however, It wouldn't kill anyone if they don't sound like the ones in mario wonder. Hell, voicing it yourself or having a friend help would go a long way.

Honestly, no clue, haven't had any reports of this happening to anyone yet - if you figure it out by disabling other mods, I'd be happy to look in to how to prevent that from happening with the offending mod, but hard to guess which one it could be.

what mod do you think could be doing it?

@Milky -- that definitely sounds like some weird third party mod interaction - the flower should only blow up from explosions within range.

everytime wonder flower spawns it instantly blows up for me, any idea if i have a mod that does that or if its just bugging out?

@Shoco - settings will only be saved on a per save file basis unfortunately; so if you make changes on save file 1, they will not be loaded in save file 2 - this is just how mod saves work within the game -- however if you still have issues with it, feel free to join the Discord and I can see if there is a bug causing it not to work for you.

Seems that the mod doesn't save any changes made to the settings for it. They show up a bit too often by default for my liking so with the prior issue I'll have to un-subscribe unfortunately. Fun concept for a mod, though.

I am not a fan of using AI. Using the already present voice lines, sentence mixing, or even doing a bad impression would have been way more charming.
