One small nitpick I notice is the sprite position makes it look like the player's hand is holding some of the guns by the butt stock instead of their grip and trigger. This is noticeable especially on the Maliwan guns like the Florentine or Hyperion guns like the Fatale. But other than that, this mod works great and I enjoy the mechanics. Keep up the good work.

So far so good. I like the guns.
Sorry I keep repeating myself about Tediore. I just thought they would fit as guns, that are simpler to craft or for players who want more basic guns.

Also I feel like more energy weapons that don't have crazy gimmicks or ammunition besides slag might be appreciated. Maybe Atlas and Alien guns for corruption and crimson. Corrosive weapons also need more love.

One more problem. At lot of the explosions tend to knock enemies to the right by default if it's not a direct hit. Especially the nukem. This isn't a problem with the mod but this tends to happen on my copy of tmodloader and is probably inherent with the game's code even after giving it a hard uninstall. Just wanted to report this as explosions and AOE can be tricky to code because of this.

Yeah from the way I've written the code, there's a line that causes damage to the player BEFORE firing the projectiles, so if the code breaks there then the projectiles will NOT be fired.

Er to clarify they deal self-damage akin to the Orphan Maker (which would probably have the same issue if it were in the mod)

It's probably related to the fact that both deal damage when you fire them, so maybe a mod you're using makes that interaction break somehow

I noticed two shotguns don't seem to be shooting anything. The Catalyst and the Toll. They "fire" but no projectiles come out or appear anywhere. Not sure if it's a clash with some other mods I'm playing with or some Borderlands style requirement to use them properly, but I just noticed and wanted to let you know.

Found in 2.0.4's changelog, I'll post the relevant change here:
"Vaulthalla guns can no longer be reforged by the Goblin Tinkerer, but to compensate they are almost guaranteed to have a prefix when dropped or crafted and will also never roll Annoying or Broken, now you gotta work for that god roll"

This is an intentional design decision, read the in-game changelog. (Due to character limitations, the relevant version changelog cannot be viewed on the workshop page)

anyone else unable to use the goblin tinkerer to reforge this mods guns? or are they supposed to be that way? can't even put the gun in the reforge slot.

Seraph Crystals are an extremely rare non-boss enemy drop, only obtainable in Expert Mode and above. Don't expect to get one during a playthrough, but consider yourself very fortunate if you do.

Do you even need my permission? I will say the mod isn't up to my standards currently so if you don't mind being patient until the next update is out (which is hopefully soon, it's a pretty big update) then that may be a better opportunity, it'll look much better that way.

In that sense it wasn't nerfed because of the gun itself, but because of the available ammo types, Clorophyte being the most obvious example.

Yes I'm still maintaining this, just very distracted by other things. The Butcher is actually buffed in the next update, maybe a little too much, but in the current version it's very weak. This was to compensate for the fact that it's classed as a kinetic gun, most of which can use other bullet types.

I what u to at the butcher shotgun in 3. was overpowered before they nerfed it. but i understood why i would hav to. reloading once every 5 to 6 mags. the guns effect plus flak's crit effect goes hard. try it for yourself.

When in doubt, consult the bestiary. Quality of Terraria is the only mod I can think of that makes bestiary entries fully unlock with one kill, if you also need that. A more convenient way of seeing drop rates would be nice, but not realizable at this point in time, so sorry about that.

is there somewhere I can find the drop rates of the guns and Seraph Crystals? I understand they are rare but i have only had 2 drop in my calamity world of 60+ Hours, and lots of farming and grinding with luck potions and such..

Yes and no, it's not the same soundbyte but you will hear it a lot. Specifically, it uses the sound that Lucy the Axe uses.

The Cure only heals when using musket balls (or tungsten bullets) and only does so if the resulting hit deals more than 1 damage.

Unfortunately, I don't think it's in the spirit of the mod to reveal what each and every effect of a weapon is, in some cases it'd result in a wall of text anyway. It's like dissecting a frog, you know what the inside of it looks like, but the frog dies as a result. Just use each gun and discover their unique effects, you'll have a lot more fun that way.

Empyrea's pretty much the only truly custom aspect of the mod, the rest closely follow source material where possible, accounting for potential balancing according to Terraria standards. (Can't have a gun severely outclass other options in the same tier, after all)

Empyrea is a new manufacturer, custom for this mod. It wouldn't feel right lumping it with Gearbox/Eridian so I opted for a completely distinct manufacturer name.

This mod is only focused on weapons, but I'm down for the idea of a full-on Borderlands mod, just not this mod's job.

I would love to see a full mod with some bosses with pre-generated boss locations, like the Warrior from bl2 in a pre-gen arena in hell, and when you beat it it drops more powerful weapons. Or enemies like Stalkers and Skags! It'd be a little difficult but it'd be amazing if this was turned into or part of a full borderlands mod.
