- INTRODUCTION -

Welcome one, welcome all, Vault Hunters! This is Terralands: Project Vaulthalla, a mod that aims to add as many of the unique guns in the Borderlands franchise as possible. By a ranger main, for ranger mains.

- CONTENT -

At present, the mod has over 50 guns! I could list them all here but as time goes on it becomes a pain to keep track of just how many there are, but trust me, there are a LOT of guns.

Aside from the Basic Repeater which you can start the game with, these guns are rare drops from certain enemies, alternatively you can use Eridium Bars to craft these guns directly at an Eridium Anvil if your luck is that terrible. There are also much rarer Effervescent variants of most guns, they only drop in Expert Mode or harder, good luck!

- FAQ -

Q: How do I obtain Eridium Bars?
A: Enemies have a small chance to drop some, the higher the difficulty, the more often they drop and with more quantity! Alternatively you can hunt for elusive Eridium Deposits that generate throughout the world for a more consistent but non-renewable source.

Q: Eridium Deposits didn't generate in my world, help!
A: You probably aren't looking hard enough, try downing a Spelunker Potion or obtain some form of Echo Sight! They generate at about the same rate as Life Crystals.

Q: I ran out of Raw Eridium and I've mined all the Eridium Deposits in my world, how can I get more?
A: You can drop Eridium Bars into shimmer to acquire 3 pieces of Raw Eridium each. Of course, Eridium Bars themselves are renewable as enemy drops, and therefore so is Raw Eridium via shimmer.

Q: This gun sucks/is too powerful!
A: I'm always looking out for feedback, does a gun feel too under/overpowered or do you want to see a certain gun implemented? Let me know!

Seraph Fragments, replaces Seraph Crystal drops (can now drop in Normal mode, but drops more often in Expert and above), 5 can be crafted into a Seraph Crystal

All Effervescent guns shimmer decraft into 1 Seraph Fragment in addition to the usual amount of Eridium Bars
Author's Note:
You like rare loot? I sure do. Now you have a realistic chance of being able to craft an Effervescent gun yourself, even in Normal mode! Do note that Effervescent guns themselves still cannot drop in Normal mode.

One small nitpick I notice is the sprite position makes it look like the player's hand is holding some of the guns by the butt stock instead of their grip and trigger. This is noticeable especially on the Maliwan guns like the Florentine or Hyperion guns like the Fatale. But other than that, this mod works great and I enjoy the mechanics. Keep up the good work.

So far so good. I like the guns.
Sorry I keep repeating myself about Tediore. I just thought they would fit as guns, that are simpler to craft or for players who want more basic guns.

Also I feel like more energy weapons that don't have crazy gimmicks or ammunition besides slag might be appreciated. Maybe Atlas and Alien guns for corruption and crimson. Corrosive weapons also need more love.

One more problem. At lot of the explosions tend to knock enemies to the right by default if it's not a direct hit. Especially the nukem. This isn't a problem with the mod but this tends to happen on my copy of tmodloader and is probably inherent with the game's code even after giving it a hard uninstall. Just wanted to report this as explosions and AOE can be tricky to code because of this.

Yeah from the way I've written the code, there's a line that causes damage to the player BEFORE firing the projectiles, so if the code breaks there then the projectiles will NOT be fired.

Er to clarify they deal self-damage akin to the Orphan Maker (which would probably have the same issue if it were in the mod)

It's probably related to the fact that both deal damage when you fire them, so maybe a mod you're using makes that interaction break somehow

I noticed two shotguns don't seem to be shooting anything. The Catalyst and the Toll. They "fire" but no projectiles come out or appear anywhere. Not sure if it's a clash with some other mods I'm playing with or some Borderlands style requirement to use them properly, but I just noticed and wanted to let you know.

Found in 2.0.4's changelog, I'll post the relevant change here:
"Vaulthalla guns can no longer be reforged by the Goblin Tinkerer, but to compensate they are almost guaranteed to have a prefix when dropped or crafted and will also never roll Annoying or Broken, now you gotta work for that god roll"

This is an intentional design decision, read the in-game changelog. (Due to character limitations, the relevant version changelog cannot be viewed on the workshop page)

anyone else unable to use the goblin tinkerer to reforge this mods guns? or are they supposed to be that way? can't even put the gun in the reforge slot.
