Happy news! Thanks to help from the JA3 modding community on discord I was able to update the mod for 1.5.1. It seems to work after a quick test. Let me know if it works for you. Happy trap disarming!

I liked this mod but it seems to be incombatible with the 1.5.1 version of the game as it's no longer working.

Does exactly what it says on the tin.

Was surprised that both JA3 vanilla and BG3 will, without mods, happily have your characters keep stumbling onto traps that they already know about. JA2 automatically halted your movement before blowing yourself up, IIRC.

I did find it a bit silly that if you were rapidly clicking your people would just run right over mines even if they saw them. This definitely will help

Absolutely, bro, don't you worry. It will pause in the very moment the trap is discovered. However. Discovery still depends on the explosives skill, no change there. If your merc was going to walk onto the mine without noticing it, that will still happen with the mod. It does not make them easier to detect. It just pauses the game when a trap is detected.
