But if you need a rebel base right now, try using the white walled skin. Perhaps that will feel rebel-y enough, since that does actually use rebel wall textures and is kinda intended for that purpose.
A Simple yes or no should suffice as an answer or a maybe if you dont feel like eitther
But if you want resources for a map, you should check my other addons. I've got plenty of models and materials that will be useful for creating maps.

The other is that you might have placed your base in a shaded area like I mentioned before. If you place it in a dark location, then yeah, it will be dark since it's shaded like a prop. If you put it in a sunny location such as on the grass, in flatgrass, then it should be lit normally. If the base is placed in a half shaded area, then some modules might be dark. While it can be a bit annoying, that's perfectly normal and just how the shading engine works. So try spawning it in differently lit locations.
Could you maybe post a screenshot if that doesn't work?
It's completely unsuitable for use in the Hammer editor and will not yield good results.
