@Everitt Oh I didn't know that I'm thought it would be in a .xnb like most things like the sounds, music, images, etc... I'm sorry to be mistaken I'm not a person that does many resource packs I know just the very basic and shouldn't be in a position of teaching.

I wouldn't recommend using the actual file you get out of it for your localization. You will overwrite a lot of things other than just what you want to change. Instead use the resulting json to find all the string ids of what you want to change and put all those in your own json. Once you are done put a folder called "Localization" under content and put your json there.

What do you mean the .xnb? It should be just as simple as the .json in the localization. You just need to name your localization the desired language (ex: en-US.json) and then have the string ids for the text you're changing given your custom whatever, and that should overwrite no problem.
