@John27: left hand is tied to left mouse button, right hand to right mouse button. That's the magic behind it, really. Change the logic of main attacks through left mouse button (to the right one) and you get your right handed characters. Any one handed item placed into the right slot of the action bar is activated by right click. You don't have to flip sprites or whatever, you have to flip your mouse usage. Use the right slots of the action bar instead of the left ones. Starbound basics 101.

No, I am barely using any mods and they're all clientside, server I play on is vanilla. I'm just playing a Human and my pet is a cat.

Its maybe because your pet is from a modded race ?

I tried it out and it seems like I can still interact with my pet and it can block access to storage.

Can't believe this is just made today when Starfield are out. I wish for a mod that mirror-flip every human(oid) character in game because they all have left hand as dominant hand.
