Perhaps the narrative elements are actually coming for the Lord of Time mod exclusively, and they weren't present last time I used it.

Hmm. Perhaps the narrative related to Wolfgang, Matthias Volker and Sheeragatu is not coming from this mod. I was assuming it was, because I am using this mod for the first time, and it is the first time I am seeing these events.

To explain, The Changeling is the leader of "The Deceivers" faction. I have a quest called "A Close Call" that requires me to destroy "The Deceivers", aka The Changeling. Once I do this, Wolfgang Holswig-Abanauer, Franz heir, is revealed to be an agent of Tzeentch and removed from my faction. I have Wolfgang as a lord due to another mod, Lord of Time, which adds him.

But if this all sounds like nonsense, then I am guessing that all of this narrative content is not coming from SCM Empire Secessionists mod as I had assumed. If it were, I would expect a very different tone in your response. Like, oh yeah, we decided it would fit the narrative to remove Wolfgang (i.e. some collab between modders).

Further, what would be the point of downloading a mod to get an additional legendary lord, if the legendary lord is just going to get deleted after a few turns. It seems its an odd interplay between two different mods creating this. Narratively, it's pretty cool. But my Pokemon OCD is struggling majorly with this. :)

@I Am Neenja - I'm pretty certain it is related to this mod. This mod has a quest where you have to destroy the changeling's faction, and all of his cult locations are revealed to you. Upon destroying the changeling, flavor text is presented that indicates Woflgang is an agent of Tzeentch, and Wolfgang's army immediately loses it's lord and I have to choose someone else to lead it. Subsequent battles related to this to go against Mathias Volker and Sheeragatu also include Wolfgang. I was hoping we would find out that it wasn't the real Wolfgang, and we could rescue him and get him back. I'm 99.99% certain this mod is causing Wolfgang to be lost, since the cause and effect events could not be more clear. And prior to using this mod, I have never lost Wolfgang in previous runthroughs playing Franz with Wolfgang.

This is a really cool mod, but it seems that it will cause me to lose Wolfgang as a legendary lord (added from Heroes of Time mod). That is kind of a deal breaker for me. Can I just ignore the plot to prevent this? I went forward a few extra turns, hoping I'd get him back. But it looks like he's gone for good. :(

I discovered that it is now official feature that Empire starts already with Helmgart. Is it possible to change this? It became so much easier that it lost the fun of fighting Secessionists, they don't even have time to recruit

Playing Empire I've already start with Helmgart, and Frankenwurter keeps running away and not recruiting units, is it normal? Does Millennium mod interferes with this mod?

sorry had work spent a bit testing different mods, and weirdly enough on a new save with all the same mods it worked, I think its clashing with another notification that supposed to populate at the same time about to start a new game without out that one mod again so even when playing with both they will work if I hold off on that notification till next turn, ill just play without that one as this one is way more fun, thanks for the quick reply

Had an issue today where when I take the last rebel city, instead of getting the prompt to either kill, recruit, banish, or imprison, my game just freezes and shuts down, anyone else having this issue? thank you.

I had a late game crisis spawn as the secessionists being corrupted by Slaanesh. Does this overwrite the vanilla crises? I had it on ultimate crisis mode with Vamps, Orks and TKs rising becoming a crisis and it would suck to lose on the campaign difficultly. Thanks!

Ummm when I activate IEE and this mod, This mod just don't work. How do I fix it?

I mean it show the character in selection screen and all, but when I play as Karl, Reinhardt just disappear. Replace with generic lord.

Quick question. Are the Handgunners dependent on something? I defeated them and recruited them directly, and I can't find them as RoR.

Yeah, just checked in campaign, as I should have done to begin with. Used console commands to level him to level 8 without spending skill points, put him on his horse, and as expected, no talents or skills, and his name shows up as expected. Just faulty testing with quick battles on my part, my bad, but thank you.

The firing effects for the Mackensen's Marauders seems to works perfectly now, thank you!

When I was just quickly testing this in a skirmish battle, I noticed that Hans Frankenwurters name becomes blank when you put him on his horse, Wulcan. Only tested in a skirmish battle, not in campaign, so don't know if it happens there as well, and again, it's not a big deal, just though I would mention it just in case.

In addition (this is probably just a quick battle problem and not worth caring about at all, just happened to notice), his abilities and items becomes unselectable when you select the horse, but when you enter the battle with him on the horse, he automatically gets all his abilities for free.

For some reason it seems like the firing effects (flash/smoke) for the Mackensen's Marauders (Handgunners) unit has stopped working. I'm sure it used to work before, so don't know what happened since I last played, but probably something CA did in an update.
It's a very minor issue that most people won't notice, and I've made a quick temporary "fix" to use in my own playthrough anyway, so definately not a big deal, just though I would mention it in case someone cares.

RoR. If you already recruited them, you'll see them in the RoR panel once you disbanded them

Playing as the secessionists, how exactly do I recruit the marauder handgunners unit? I only saw the unique halberdiers available from the landmark in Ubersreik but not the handgunners. Could it be because I'm using other landmark mods + the OVN Lost World that accidentally remove the unit from being recruit-able?

That's Marienburg, and summoned units are not Secessionist, and check MCT.

Does this mod make a rebel army spawn that sieges altdorf regardless of what public order actually was?

I defeated the Secessionists, banished them, and several turns later an almost full, extremely high tier and fully experienced army spawned and sieged Altdorf, and I'm just trying to track down which mod is making this happen so I can delete that mod from my playlist.

Oh yeah man, I changed the unicue id and it helped. It conflicts with the SCM Marienburg mod (5.1)

Hi @Rhox! The abilities: Gray Mountain's Aegis and Helmgart's Brand no longer work in combat with the new patch.
