I know, I'm sorry, I lost all the original files when my hard drive gave up a while back, and because the MCC updated, it broke my mods. I'm working on trying to get it back up!

I've had this mod for three days but not once has it shown up on my list mod list and therefore, can't play it.
I've also met all the requirements to play it and it still doesn't show up.
Is there something else that i'm missing? Because this is a genuinely good looking mod.

No. Not only did it go against what I set out for it to be, I've lost the original tags to a PC wipe. There's no recovery possible.

Hey Spicy, idk if i just havnt figured it out or what, but the jetpack has some kind of issue. the boost you mentioned is there ofc, but it actually has a max height. a very short one. so the ODSTs had a nice laugh on exodus watching me fall to my death 3 times XD

i cant get it to fly higher once used, so you gotta platform abit to even reach the upper areas, idk if thats intentional or what, if it is, okay no worries.. but if it isnt.. might be something to do with the thrust modification

the undaunted ability COULD use a faster charge speed for the shield, that or a melee bonus when you run up to an enemy to give them a fistin'. the evade alternative felt good at first, and was really handy for dodging the new super lethal grenades (yay!), and yet i found myself hunting down the undaunted any chance i could, especially in the second half of the game. could you turn down the recoil on the pistol though...? it shaking my screen like a 5-year-old with a giggle stick was... disorienting. or atleast drop down the screen shake if possible? idk if you plan on tinkering with the vehicles more, but i felt like grabbing them was more of a hazard than a boon compared to just going at things on foot. that could just be the higher difficulty though.

ok so. i was ACTUALLY playing on heroic. that said.... that was a hell of a lot of fun. the hologram/undaunted equipment is amazing to run with a shotgun. and the shotgun felt great too. still wish its range wasn't so short but oh well... cant have everything. the DMR changes were also amazing. i kept forgetting early on that it could fire as fast as i could mash the button, and was pacing my shots as per usual. the sniper changes felt great as well. i could actually fight with it at closer ranges if the enemy got too close to use the scope (or i charged in and just used it to delete a bitch point blank.)

so, already in the first level I'm enjoying the heck out of this. even if its a lower difficulty and running with funny inf ammo skulls (which kind of ruins the extra ammo bits, but eh... I'm here to have fun not prove i'm an absolute halo badass. did the legendary runs... i dun wanna no moe') loving the concept with the pistol being a proper side arm that you keep. idk if it'd be a pain to swap the weapon key for it so that i keep the natural flow of two weapons and can whip out the pistol seperately, but would be cool if it can be finagled to work somehow. maybe allow the plasma pistol to fill that slot? also i do feel the sword should be there too. you don't really get the sword that often in reach, so i don't think it having ammo regen would be too nutty either. maybe to keep it more "balanced" have it go through ammo faster, but a fairly short recharge state. so you can't just run in wildly swinging till everything dies, but its still a valuable tool to keep around.

I'm sorry. I will not be making a "First Person Only" version of W.A.R.
The effort of going back into each individual weapon tag, and this is literally every single weapon's tag, ticking off "Use 3rd Person Camera" then making sure not only does it look right back IN said First Person Camera, but then also having to tick off "Projectiles use Weapon Origin" to look right and fire right.

And THEN recompile all the maps back into new said maps whilst also trying to preserve the original W.A.R's tags, THEN redo the entirety of a mod upload with Excession because I can't just simply use what I had before to upload "Just with new maps" because it'd overwrite the original version.

Long story short; I'm sorry. It's not happening. Not only are there not nearly enough requests for the effort of such an endeavour, there's no upside I can see of it. And that's not to say all my Halo mods are going to be 3rd person. Look at my mod for Halo 3; Concordance.

This is an optional request, but is it possible for you to make a version of this that uses standard Halo perspective? Ex. first-person for most weapons and third-person for turrets and vehicles.

Also, the Magnum is a Third Weapon. You have 2 Primary Slots and a dedicated slot for the Magnum should you find any ammo.

i usually find mods that are under 500 MB to have over 4 gigs of content and im very choosy and picky with file storage

Any update on the LMG? I understand if its not something you want in the mod or its out of scope. Overall I REALLY enjoy playing through on Heroic. Legendary deaths happen pretty fast in vehicles, but other than that it feels kinda like playing Mass Effect lol. 10/10 mod IMO.

realized "weak to damage" is a dumb sentence, not bullet spongy enough to compensate for a lot of the rebalanced unsc weapons, like the assault rifle and shotgun

Update 1.11 coming out-- changing up the HUD colours to a bright blue for easier reading against Reach's backgrounds. And to help Suriza whom I changed the HUD without consulting first and totally didn't know they were red-green colorblind. If there were options, I'd do something about it, just sadly there isn't.

1000 character limit on Steam comments, so I'll keep it short. I played for a bit and I love it. Third person is well executed; Weapons feel deadly and fun, and so do the enemies.

I have one minor pet peeve tho: The Needle Rifle.
The new change, that needle projectiles ignore shields is definitely an interesting and welcome idea, but that very fact makes the Needle Rifle the undisputed apex weapon of this mod.

A head-shot weapon that ignores shields, shooting at a moderately high speed with 21 shots per mag is just beyond op. It makes every Elite encounter a total joke.

It's a neat gimmick to play around with at first, but I personally had to self regulate and make a conscious effort to not pick up that beast anymore, as it genuinely started to sap out the fun of the game.

If you ever consider balancing it, I'd suggest just taking away the headshot ability of the weapon, as 3 body-hit-supercombine gives that weapon more than enough power already.
