Locked doors: thanks. Crestwood Tomb button was nicely hidden! Was not lighting up when I held down Alt. PS Mountain Cave I never figured out how to open the locked door but could loot the chest behind it by standing in front of the door regardless
Areas remaining in BransleyBane:
* Milyan Prison have triggered button which opens cells & angers guard with key to SW. Have found secret door in NW which leads to the exit to town. But still appears to be more open areas in NE?
* Earth Tower locked door. Not taking House of Shadows members. Seems to be faction blocked?
Also can't find the final Soul Stone - the Half dwarf - which I assume unlocks another location containing the final Lost Blade. Where was that?
Finally, a few locked doors I can't get past: Crestwood Tomb, Blue Lagoon, and Mountain Cave. No keys to be found, and Knock spell doesn't work. Hints please!
Also Orc Capital quest - after beating the traitor prince, Chief Gillimok does not advance quest. May also be faction related?
Regarding Honeycut Yes, there are about 4-5 ways Honeycut can be saved though I don't want to spoil the exact details for you as it is intended to be somewhat of a mystery to save within the 5 days before the demons are unleashed.
For the Storm Keep Thieves, yes they can be stopped though the timing is pretty tight. If any group of thieves survives around a gem for over a minute they steal the gems and escape. So one tactic I might recommend is to split the party into mini squads to fight off the thieves.
Also yes both ShireChilds are pretty non-linear by design, which is intended to give it more of a tabletop RPG feel. You actually can only experience a portion of the possible campaign content in any single play through. Both campaigns can diverge pretty heavily depending on your choices. SC1 has 6 possible endings and SC2 has 3-4.
1. Can Honeycut be saved? Failed that mission but not sure if I did or didn't do something that caused me to fail?
2. Is it possible to prevent the thieves from taking the storm gem at storm keep. Ended up failing that one as well but admit it could be that I didn't run it right. The timing there seems to be critical and I thought I was on the right track but ended up failing the quest on the second wave.
Otherwise I am really enjoying this campaign and will definately play it again trying to figure some of this out.
When I see Lady G again, she hands me another wand. And another, And another...
