I'm hoping to see this for vehicles: Designated Parking Spaces. This marker identifies where the assigned vehicle is parked. Vehicles from caravans automatically return to the Designated Parking Spaces before unloading all pawns an inventory.

So... I'm in one of the ancient silos (courtesy of Operation Deadlife,) and I was looking at the covered ancient tanks and noticed some details. They don't quite match the Bunsen (size and general hull design, discounting the tarp) or the Bulldog (T2 light tank.) More something in between. Is this purely coincidence or a recycled asset from a different early tank design?

when i hit info button of a vehicle i does not show any info so im unable to see what ammo uses. Whats happening?

Are there any plans to do more with boats? It'd be fun to play a map with Realistic Planets that's just a few rocks poking out of the sea and have a boat-centric playthrough.

A small request; would it be possible to make it so vehicles travelling diagonally use the east/west sprites, instead of north/south? Personally I find the flip a little jarring, as it's not how colonist sprites work, they look sideways when travelling diagonally... I'd normally do it myself, but I couldn't figure out how to change this.

need help. im on version 1.5

i departed 4 pawns (1 pilot and 3 passengers) on the mosquito chopper, killed all enemies in an area, and tried to reform caravan with vehicles. The game automatically select all 4 people but i can't click accept since the game said i need the correct amount of people to man the vehicle. deselected 3 of my pawns but the game kept saying nop, the number wasnt correct. then i proceed to manually load 1 pawn as a pilot then reformed a caravan on world map.

after that i reformed the caravan like usual from the caravan menu, pressing accept. everything is set. i have all my pawns on board, all items on board and pressed launch to the nearest faction, but the pilot departed alone. all passengers were left behind.
did i do something wrong with the forming caravan action? any help would be greatly appreciated

my apologies, it turns out Wrecks Expanded Part 2 changed the research tree for vehicles, and even said that it would, but I didn't read it properly.

@Hillyan im pretty sure you can just name them differently to differentiate. and i also agree with @schraider although i doubt it will come to pass a drone luanch truck would be amazing.

This is only a minor thing but is there a way to differentiate between two vehicles of the same type in the caravan screen?

I have 2 Roadrunners, a blue one for trading and a red one pre-loaded up with parts for restoring Tier 3 vehicles from the module but on the selection screen they're both show as grey. and without names so it's a 50/50 gamble on which one I end up sending.

Yes, I could probably just destroy one of them but I'd like to have both in case something happens.

I can't take off with the Mosquito all of a sudden. I direct a pawn to pilot it, click the Launch button which takes me to the world map but I keep getting the error sfx no matter where I click

the select driver screen could really use a search.. all pawns and animals get shown, in seemingly random order too. i been trying to load the pawns in their vehicles before the caravan screen, to bypass the lack of search. and they do show up as drivers, i just need to enable each vehicle, but then they never leave. it says something about pawn unable to reach exist S. almost a 10/10. when it does work, it's really nice. the speed, the capacity.. love it

I don't know if this is the right place but I just saw an old post on Reddit about future vehicles that where going to be added and some of them where like snow mobiles, forklifts and mech suits, as well as spacer tanks and space craft. And given that it was 4 years ago roughly I just wanted to ask if there's any chance on us actually getting those? Don't get me wrong I absolutely love the ones we have and I use this in almost every playthrough I do but seeing those things made me really want to play with them. Especially the spacecraft gunship and drop ship. Those in combination with the odessy DLC I think would make for an amazing mobile strike command force.

I love this mod.
My only complaint is about the pawn selection dialog (in the caravan screen).
I have a big colony (200+ pawns). And it's very hard to find anyone on the current UI. Takes a long time.
Would be awesome if this ist is sorted (or sortable) in alphabetic order.

ive removed all mods besides the 3 required and it seems only the planes that require a runway have this issue where they cannot exit the home tile

for some reason im unable to send planes to different tiles on the world map, i looked in the mod settings and they seem to not be able to be in a caravan so i dont know if this has something to do with it.

1.6 The tank is unable to fire shells. In developer mode, even when fully loaded with ammunition, it cannot fire.

Sending two or more vehicles in the same caravan ends in handbrake action and tires damage of the second vehicle, because both vehicles "want" to leave the map from the same point at the same time. :-) Please give some more space at the edge of map for the multivehicle caravan...

I have this problem where I can't select vehicles to caravan after an update of the VF, I could before select a land vehicles using the normal caravan button but now I can't select it even though it's not grayed out like aerial vehicles

For those who can’t load images of vehicles or the vehicle workshop: the last Vehicle Framework update broke Image Opt. It seems to be fixed in the latest version, but you might need to resubscribe to reload the mod.

I am experiencing a possible issue where wounded pawns and prisoners are not being treated even when the caravan is resting or idle. I do not know wether that is a bug or is intended? I thoroughly enjoy this mod and will continue to use it in the future. Dearest Thanks.

Is it possible to trade items between vehicles in a caravan? I keep sending out trade convoys and after buying my stuff one of the vehicles will become overloaded and I cant get the caravan to move?

Come to think of it: What qualifies as 'off road'? Given Classics, it might *literally* mean any terrain that is not a Road, or it could be any terrain over a certain Movement Difficulty rating.

You know what would be nice? Having the automatic garage doors automatically open when a caravan is forming/leaving, and automatically close after a vehicle passes through it. Actually, just opening and closing when a vehicle approaches and distances from it would be nice...

Anyone else having an issue where my helicopter moves when rotating the grav ship and moving tiles?

If you are having trouble launching your grav ship because the thrusters are "Not functional: Must be outside" try opening up your garage door if you have one. I'm not really sure what interaction is going on here but for some reason my garage area is considered outdoors and the location of my grav ship is also outdoors. If the garage door is down the grav ship thinks it is inside. When I opened up the garage door I can launch.
