can you tell me how import the roads and objects from gameRealisticMap to terrain Builder? (i know how satmap and idmap) I need help... please.
@hateandcaffeine It's not yet available, but an export to TerrainBuilder file formats is planned
Other preset are planned (mediterranean and tropical), meanwhile you can create manually them.
Some issues may come from open street map data that may need some fixes/additions. I will make a tutorial on how to improve the data and which details are useful for generator.
Arma bridges are not working in a majority of maps.
I think its to do with the path finding following the terrain elevation.
I lost count of the number of times my squad ignored a bridge and swam over the river, or a vehicle just sat on the edge of the bridge.
In saying that, none of the maps I've generate so far have been all that great and there are a lot issues, such as 'squares' not lining up with others, roads getting cut in half, bridges not working right. BUT, if these issues can be fixed or at the very least reduced, then this could change everything.
Anyone else have the issue of the ground texture looking like a grid? Or is this just a limitation.
we will watch your career with great interest
it is currently 'ttps:/github.com/jetelain/ArmaRealMap/wiki'
you are missing the 'h' at the beginning of the URL and a /
so it needs to be https://github.com/jetelain/ArmaRealMap/wiki
one bug I've noticed is how it might interpret shallow rivers as a ditch instead of a river, and so it doesn't fill it with water. not sure if this is an already known bug, but thanks for your fantastic work, extremely easy to use tool
