Why is there no mod to get rid of malaria

I still continue to use it. Clearly visible, the developers need to look at the number of mosquitoes in the icon (not convenient)

While this mod is no longer useful as per 1.5 update. I want to give a thanks to you for making this mod which made my Victoria 3 experience more bearable while it lasted.

The 1.5 update seems to make this mod obsolete. Regular Malaria will be the "yellow" icon, while Severe Malaria will be multiple mosquitoes with the red background.

Man, those icons can move?
Idk if it was my imagination but i swear i seen one of the mosquitos cleaning himself like moving their hands to the front and touching his nose, like cleaning.
It was like for one second until i clicked something else but i believe i seen it.

I'm colorblind, have you considered changing the mosquito (even if its just changing the direction they're facing) for an additional change between them?

Lol, would imagine that paradox copied the same content in the future update (i.e. simple but great :) )

@Baldwin II, I have gotten achievements with this mod enabled. I believe Vic3 is extremely permissive in regards to mods/achievements.

Small, but necessary mod. Thanks! I hope Paradox will integrate (with your permission) or somehow care about having different colors.

Please don't write silly things like calling the devs lazy or that they don't care, it makes you look like an asshat. Software development is hard, and there is finite amount of person-hours for any given release. If one feature is include it means another feature was excluded.

One reason it's not in the base game? There's a lot of other stuff not in the base game that got on other people's task list. Why wasn't this mod released on October 24, 2023? Because lots of other mods were coming out first. :-) I'm glad it's here, and I'd expect this to be one that gets its way into the base game over time - along with other improvements in informational delivery.
