@DinoBenosaurus Well, as you learn how to make props or playermodels, it'll get easier as you make more! We all had to start from somewhere. Source SDK is not exactly easy to begin with, but over time, you'll progress and learn! I hope this advice helps you. Also, make sure the model creator of the model you're gonna use gives you permission to use it.
And since the guides you're finding are a bit confusing and old, try this!

um pignu fan i dont wanna be annoying but is there an easy way to make props(or i guess playmodels idk) i know it takes awhile but all the guides i see are really confusing (and old) im mainly just asking how to take a model from sketch fab to gmod (btw cool mod)(also if theres no real answer to my question i get it)

lemme just scripple some large body with 4 tentacle like limbs and put a large mouth on it alongside some anatomically innacurate tongue. and to top it off, 3 eyes.
