I was looking for a mod like this the entire time. I do not know if the person who made this mod is still alive? But I want to say thanks & stay safe.

Mod still currently works, but I wanted to leave something for those that has the All 8 Survivors Mod, you'll need to config in your files - downsizing the party from 8 to 4 survivor bots/players.

If you still have 8 in your config, you'll have the bots appearing and then reappearing - and it will cause your game to slow down a lot.

That will be in sourcemod < cfg < l4d_max_survivors 8, the 8 value should be changed to 4.

@Susan: You'll need to verify your files. This is a separate issue from the mod, and the mod itself shouldn't be causing that problem. If a file is always missing, it is probably because you have another addon that replaces those very things.

If the problem isn't still fixed, Susan, you'll need to unsubscribe from all of your mods. Start from vanilla, and uninstall this mod.

well i have a problem...
When i am making lobby on 2 of us the game loads BUT my friend can not join cuz of Missing filles like ( Melees , rifles ) or if even we will play on normap Compain the game doing the same thing.
Please Fix it

It can, but usually it's possible to defend yourself, as a situation where a smoker and a hunker can get you both easily is rare. I don't know of a way to limit pinning infected without completely getting rid of one or the other.

The Hunter and Smoker can screw you both at the same time, however the possibility of that happening is either uncommon or rare. Maybe tweak it to where only one pinning infected can spawn at a time.

Easy way to get around it is to go to right click L4D2, and go to properties-set launch options and add

+precache_all_survivors 1

So, in L4D1 Campaigns, me and my friend has problems about L4D1 Campaigns that it doesnt work right like it has problems (I dont know why okay?) and Everytime we beat the 1st level of a campaign for L4D1 Survivors my friend get crashed and it seems this mutation has alot of problems that it needs to fix, also It works on L4D2 characters, but not the original one.

For some reason the sb_takecontrol command doesnt work on l4d1 survivors. Also on Crash course bots go nuts and start moving without you.

open the console, type

sb_add

You can add as many bots as you want this way. You can kick them with

kick nick
kick coach

etc. Though playing with 1 bot is still pretty bad. Like single player, they have a tendancy to just stare at you if you're pinned, or leave important items behind. I did mess around with making a SP based mutator that does something similar, but it wasn't very fun.

Is there a way to make it so I can play with one bot? I don't like playing with other people and would rather play with one bot.

Hard Rain seems to work fine. Maybe the problem is with L4D1 campaings?

I had the same error when changing levels in Dead Air (I don't have the exact error right now either, sorry, but it was about loading a survivor model). With and without mods, local host.

We were playing on no mercy, I'll reproduce the error when i have time, but it was along the lines of not being able to load in a l4d2 survivor model. we are both using character skins, and i was using localhost.

Do you get an error message? Are you or a friend using custom survivors? Are you using local host?

Mutation seems to crash when transitioning between levels for me, does anyone know how to fix this?

Ok Lerox, done. I haven't had the chance to try it with 2 human players, and because I whipped it up in half an hour I obviously haven't tested it properly, but it seems to work as far as I can see from running through the start of a map with a bot.

As for the request, I took it as a question, and I assumed adding realism would be a fairly simple addition (it was) so I had a go at it. Let me know if it breaks or anything. I don't play realism that much so I'm not really the one to know. :P
