I think if you add solar energy to your mod (yes, we have immersive solar arrays, but that mod is a bit outdated, even though not bad at all).

Anyway, if you add it, I think this mod will blow up even more.

I really wish I could install solar panels. There's even a mod called "Immersive Solar Arrays" that works well on the B41, but the B42 version is apparently having some bugs. If you can actually make automatic doors and other alternatives for electrical energy like solar panels and wind power, make a battery bank, maybe even an electric car or electric bike, it would be perfect. I wish you success in trying to make the mod.

Really neat to see a real electrician give some much needed love to this skill. Outside of MP (for crafting walkie talkies, and even still, it's hardly useful) there is truly almost no reason to level this skill. Super happy to have a reason too, I always liked the idea of electrics playing a bigger role in the game, beyond replacing lamps with batteries lol

I just saw you updated the mod, but now the tags say it works only on build 41. Is that an oversight?

I have an electricity still turned on and no generator near therefore. Military ham connected to grid but still uses battery and can't be turned on without batteries

Would love an assemble and disassemble function for tv's etc. Let's face it many take things apart to learn how it ticks and what better than putting it back together and notice it still works as a way to learn. Maybe a cool down or diminishing returns or chance to break pieces to balance it.

Открываем папку с модом. Примерный путь:
LWBetterElectronics\42\media\lua\shared\Translate\RU

Открываем все файлы поочереди в NotePad++, Там - Кодировка - Преобразовать в UTF-8. Сохраняем. Проблема пропадает.

Yes, russian translation depends on the encoding, change it, haven't figured it out yet. You can search in the files of other mods, how they change the encoding so that there is no ????

I've been watching for more motorized traps in the mod lists and this would be the perfect mod to do it.
I'm thinking motorized blade traps like in 7 Days to Die, aka Zombie Blender, or even automated turrets with sensors

If you press the button assigned to first remote, an error will be throwed because the ISOPlayer is null, I guess this can be simply fix by a null check, just FYI

내생각인데 모드 제목과 포스터를 자동문 관련된 것으로 변경하는게 좋을거 같에
나도 검색 검색 검색해서 겨우 찾아낸거고 지금 이상태로는 사람들이 이 모드가 자동문인지 모를거야 그리고 빌드 42에서 정상 작동하는 자동문 모드는 이거 하나뿐이야 :steamhappy:

Something I've often thought about was running power lines to fences to run lights without having to have a ton of generators (or modded solar panels). Is that something that is feasible with this mod?

Could you like add a way to craft Scrap Electronics but using expensive stuff like gold sheet and metals or coppers for it and make it only available through a magazine and high level electronics? I'm getting way too many coppers, metal and gold but i would like to have a use for them in electronics for late game. (I play with Extra Bombs Mod too so it gets expensive on Scraps)

I kinda hate that i still need to loot for scrap electronics even tho i'm supposed to be an expert on it. and my rng is a bit unlucky that i still fail to get materials from tv and radio even at level 10.

Did a bit more testing and found a way to make it work. Use the place item (like you would furniture) and right clicking will give you the option to connect it to the grid. After that you can pick it up and move it like a regular radio. Hope that helps someone!

I sometimes have the option to connect my radio to the grid, but sometimes when right-clicking the option isn't there... Is there a requirement for it? Tool?

Hey guys ^^ I'm currently not in the best mentalstate to expand on this mod, however I took some time and updated it to V42~ Some things liker regenerating Car Batteries I was not yet able to carry over without massive duplication-bugs so please be patient. Some things with the Main-Game seems to have broken too like using the Noise-Makers without any attechments - I'll look into that.

As for Questions: - Candys are purely there for my personal debugging and nostalgy x) sorry
-Home Alarms should be Craftable now
-I have no control over mod ID sorry
-I think I can't design an UI for this mod @.@ it's above my Skill level
-I'll think about lowering the levels for stuff a bit :)
-remote Door-Motor still is working only local ~ Turns Out MP is complicated :S

Can we have the option to change at what level can certain items be crafted. I like the concept but at the same time, prefer to be able to craft some things like reverse engineer stuff at mid levels as a way to grind rather than dissembling everything

I've done about 3/4 of the play-throughs with this mod. I love this mod, but I swear the spawn rates for the training kit seem insanely low.
