i know this mod ain't a priority, but just thought i'd give a heads up: for some reason, attempting to access the Vanilla S.A.I.L Menu with FU installed causes the game to return to title screen, giving this error: " Exception Caught in client main-loop (MapException) key 'ruinedearthmission' not found in::get() "

No idea whats causing this, but given i play with mods that require usage of S.A.I.L Override to access some missions, it means i can't play this mod alongside those ones. If you have any insight, please let me know. :D

Just found out about Portal Mech from his yt channel. I thought he was one of the cool modders.

Shame he had to pull a Sayter and try to police how people experience his mods.

It wont affect custom sails, but when its uninstalled it may make the sail uninteractable without patches or openstarbound

It doesn't say its an upgraded version. Both are relatively poor quality mods.

For the sake of public good, let me be clear: this mod is not an upgraded version of "Return to Earth Overhauled", it has less content and more risk of crashing.

So, I've unlocked the quest to head to the Protectorate Outpost, but the 2 Stop Shop Teleporter isn't allowing me to go there. Any idea why this is the case?

Because I would like to play as a human who didn't do the main quest or defeat the original ruin, but rather one who wants to avenge humanity and reconquer the earth, since the original hero didn't do that.

I read the description before saying this. I only posted the comment because there is another reason for doing it than just avoiding admin mode.

Speaking of which, I found another issue. After the first boss, I think my game gets stuck in one of those sequences because it is essentially locked. I cant progress any further. The game also doesnt read the mouse and keyboard anymore.

I think the anticheat is interfeering with Project 42's parry mechanic. Because everywhere in the dungeons there are particles or things that the weapon interpret as being able to parry, you can no longer aim the blade and it keeps acting as if always blocking something. It may be a good idea to remove the anticheat.

Theres nothing to worry about with the anticheat, it is literally just something that kicks you from this mods missions when in admin, I havent had the time to remove it yet though

@Quetzalli This is the first version of the mod, which had 198 MB of bloat in order to hide its anticheat scripts. After the anticheat was busted, Portal Mech removed some of the bloat, which made the mod only 50 MB. Without any of the bloat, the mod is actually 4 MB.

The reason this is the first version of the mod is because it's the only functional one which doesn't break the common monster behavior file. (Portal Mech broke some important stuff when trying to break the anticheat bypasser and didn't fix it)

Quetzalli if you mean by original the one with reupload in it's name that's because that one has all the useless stuff and anticheat ripped out of unlike this one here

If you want to keep the 'anti-cheat' active, could you at least clean up the unnecessary text in the 'anti-cheat' files. They are simple to remove.

3. For the best user experience, admin mode has been restricted inside of all dungeons added by The Ruin's Legacy. Please do not attempt to use it, or you will be forcibly returned to your ship.

Each TRL_AntiCheat-file should be about 3 to 47 KB. The total size of this mod, without the unnecessary code is 13.9MB.

Note:
- I have to mind my disk space (laptop).
- I do not mind that this 'anti-cheat' is active in the mod (as long as it is only in the dungeons the mod adds).

Looking forward to the un-bloated version of this mod.
