im not sure, as i havent touched avorion in like 5-6 years. there might have been some changes made, for which i cant give any answers to.

Can the rich sectors be revealed by scouting operations? I swear I haven't found any since I stopped manually jumping to yellow dots and started using an explorer captain.

Honestly, since you are using main game logic, might as well set it to 2.*
The game would need a major version update to mess with asteroid field generation. At least imo.

Well, so far a sector with them has not respawned anything. Might just be a sector that can't respawn anything though.

I cant assure an answer to you question, but as my Mod uses the internal Methods to generate the asteroids, any respawning Mod might work fine with those generated asteroids.

Do you know whether your mod is compatible with Laserzwei's simple asteroid respawn mod?
Or even the base game asteroid respawning?

Would be awesome if those big bois would could respawn (eventually).

The last update, didnt went through all the way. I had to adjust the version dependency again. But this time, the update and change should be underway for all of you.

It shouldn't be set to 2.3.1, as i had changed it to 2.3, which should ignore any patch version of avorion. Maybe any automatic update of steam might got stuck on your server. But im glad, you could handle this issue yourself.

for some reason, even after your update. i had to manually change this from 2.3.1 to 2.3.2 for it to work on my server: dependencies = {

My mod uses the internal API to generate the asteroids, with just modified parameters. So other mods should be able to just work fine with those generated asteroids. But i cant assure, that this mod works with any other mod as intended.

It should work for an existing galaxy just fine. You only need to visit new sectors, which weren't already generated, as this mod just adds new sector types to the possible sector generation pool.

This Mod is pretty new, to be specific released on the 25th June this year. If you were on that server prior to this date, than this might not be the mod you are chasing for.

Hey Skulls I am curious is this the mod that I saw on a server that had HUGE asteroids in a field? I am new to modding etc and was chasing that mod (Several installs ago so apparently can't find the server?) for use for some videos.

The huge asteroids are roughly 3 - 4 times bigger in volume than the originals.

Those new sectors have the same chance to contain a claimable asteroid as the standard asteroid sector. It definitly has a positive impact on finding claimable asteroids as there are more sectors spawned, that possibly containing claimable asteroids.
