Bigger Asteroid Variants

描述
This modification adds 5 new asteroid sector types that can be found in your galaxy:
- Normal resource-rich asteroid sector
- Large asteroid sector
- Large resource-rich asteroid sector
- Huge asteroid sector
- Huge resource-rich asteroid sector


This mod does not require a new game. It can be used as long as there are never visited sectors left in your galaxy, as it just adds those asteroid field types to the pool of asteroid sector types to be generated.

Sectors are assigned a weight that determines the probability of finding them in your galaxy.
The normal asteroid sector has a weight of 300, which is fairly common, and these are marked as hidden mass signatures.
The odds and probabilities are set in relation to the normal asteroid sectors as follows:

- Normal rich asteroid sector: weight of 150, which is 2x rarer
- Large asteroid sector: weight of 125, which is 2.4x rarer
- Large rich asteroid sector: weight of 37.5, which is about 8x rarer
- Huge asteroid sector: weight of 75, which is 4x rarer
- Huge rich asteroid sector: weight of 33.75, which is 8.8x rarer


All asteroids in a rich sector variant have an 80% chance of containing resources
All rich sectors have an increased chance of containing larger multiblock resource asteroids


Disclaimer:
It has been a long time since I was last active in Avorion mod development. I am not up to date with recent changes to the game and cannot guarantee that this mod still works with the current version. I also cannot provide any information about its compatibility with other mods. Please keep this in mind when using it.

I'm sorry. I cant answer your question, as i havent been into Avorion development nor have i played Avorion since the last 2 years.
You might be better of just trying.

im not sure, as i havent touched avorion in like 5-6 years. there might have been some changes made, for which i cant give any answers to.

Can the rich sectors be revealed by scouting operations? I swear I haven't found any since I stopped manually jumping to yellow dots and started using an explorer captain.

Honestly, since you are using main game logic, might as well set it to 2.*
The game would need a major version update to mess with asteroid field generation. At least imo.

Please update max version to 2.4.* instead of including the minor version number. Save yourself and your subscribers the headache lol
