Even on a gaming laptop this map wont go 5 minutes without crashing. I love this map, and this shortline in real life, but its simply too large to run.

To everyone with performance issues, I recommend loading a smaller map (Default map works great) and setting all render distances to the lowest possible setting and then entering this map. If you have it set to infinite, it will crash your game, no matter how powerful your computer.

crashed steam AND MADE MY ENTIRE PC LAG HARD, would not recommend unless you have a GIANT computer that can handle any thing

Do you have any plans on adding onto it? I would love for this map to be a loop. I didn't even know it wasn't till I went looking for my trains and ended up finding them all derailed lol.

This layout is incredible, especially the detail on the scenery. Great job! I'd like to see something like the BNSF transcend through the Flint Hills of Kansas in the future

Thanks! Thats why I made it! I can only hope they will start up tourist stuff again but it likely will never happen, I figure this would at least serve as some sort of legacy

Thanks! if you are having issues with performance, I recommend loading a smaller layout, setting your view distances to medium or maybe even far, and then reloading this layout. If your distance is set to infinite, it may very well crash your computer

Very interesting, but details are lost how big the Layout is. Also, good renderings would look better on a smaller layout. Dams great! You have very good ideas!

ight if yall have any issues with performance, make sure to set your layout and object view distance to not be infinite!!! if may instantly crash your computer, so make sure to set it to far or normal *before* you open the layout!

Thanks for all the kind words @Gauge and @Boner! When I get around to it ill make a version without any train mods, which may improve performance somewhat. In regards to 4gb of ram, idk, if i push it and load chunks too fast it yoinks all 16gb I have, so it may not work well

Maps like this are quite far beyond the limits of what the game is designed to handle

i could only dream of making something as beautiful as this, if i ever get back to trying to put my ideas into reality with this game, imma use this as a quality standard. never was there a moment where i wasnt speechless just looking around the map. inconceivably amazing work, keep it up!

oh jeez, i knew it had some performance issues but i didnt reckon it would be too bad... for now you may want to try and load each chunk in slowly, ill see if theres anything i can do to improve perfomance in the meantime
