Thunder Mountain Line - Idaho

Hi everyone!

As some of you may know, this map has been in the works for over a year, since about March 2022. Ive made huge leaps forward in that time, not only with the size of the map but also increasing the amount of detail and improving my skills to make the map feel more... Rolling Line - esque.

The layout, in its current state, covers the distance from Horseshoe Bend, ID to Cascade, ID, and is set in the late 1980s as the Union Pacific is scrapping the portion of the line from Cascade to McCall, and is looking to sell off the line as they did with many other shortlines in that period. I tried to make the layout realistic, but added some creative liberties to make it more interesting, detailed and better suited to those who wish to run trains on the map.

This project has meant so much to me, so please have some fun exploring it and let me know what you think!

Its still a work in progress, I aim to expand the line on both ends, proceeding at least to Emmett, ID from Horseshoe Bend and hopefully also to McCall from Cascade! If you know anything more about this line, feel free to reach out!
