@alexandreagrg n Yes they do adapt to the changes, although some of my custom AI parameters are disabled at the moment. They should still function as intended.

@AbuLaki Sorry, that is not very likely. It is extremely difficult to merge mods together, and I would need to keep up a separate version just for that merge myself, on top of the 7 versions of the mod I already keep up.

@mightyo Glad you enjoy it! unfortunately I can't do that without making it it's own separate version. I can't really make an options menu or anything that would allow me to let you guys set it yourself.

Hi Space! Thanks for your incredible work. I was wondering if it's possible to add an option to your mod, so that the destroyed infantry units, and vehicles will remain on the battlefield till the end of the battle? There are certain mods that allow doing that, but they're incompatible with your mod. And again many thanks!

UPDATED: v.146198 02/06/25

This update came with a few structural changes to the files and as a result several features had to be disabled temporarily while I rewrite them.

However it should come with some bugfixes at well, and fixes to my own code that should eliminate most if not all of the recent issues with game crashes.

CURRENTLY DISABLED TEMPORARILY:

- Plane altitude overhaul system (high alt / low alt bombers)
- Additional supply cost for some weapons (LGB, MLRS)
- Most custom AI parameters
- Smoke grenades no longer show on the UI for infantry unfortunately. They do still function though. Remember that all engineers, command units, and special forces have smoke grenades.

@[ACPL] Jon_Gra_TTV Unfortunately my custom AI is disabled as of a couple patches ago while I have been trying to clean it up and rewrite it. It's still in progress because they keep changing the AI stuff around, and I'm waiting for them to fix it up and land on something final and then I will re-modify it from there. Apologies for the delay with that, hopefully they will fix the Vanilla AI soon, and I will reupdate for that. Merry Christmas! :chivsalute:

Yes, 3 MP crashes. What's very weird though is that we've played several matches since then and not a single crash - perhaps we earlier used a deck that has something broken, but we couldn't pinpoint it. Will let you know if it happens again, so far we're having fun again thanks to your awesome work.

Having a crash while using the F111's units in the first Army General campaign. I think it happens when doing an evac.

@[ACPL] Jon Sorry to hear that! Multiplayer or singleplayer? I'm still trying to track down these crashes, I'm kind of stuck because I can't read the crash reports and Eugen hasn't responded to my requests for help.

Doubly weird because if your crash happened in MP, then the crashing issues ONLY occur in multiplayer skirmishes, and not singleplayer skirmishes. At least, I haven't been able to get it to crash in SP, but if I boot up a private MP lobby with AI it will crash about halfway through the round.

Sadly we're 3 for 3 in crashes when using the mod. Vanilla 0 crashes. AFAIR we've used 27th, one of the VDV, germans with T72s and perhaps indep tank brigade.

General Strategy:
AI has a much more aggressive strategy (for real this time)
Adjusted AI deployment behavior (more recon, heavier forward deployment)
More aggressive with command units, less likely to leave a point when attacked.
Less wasted units on far-behind lines defense missions
Adjusted attacking strategies to include more infantry, more recon, and in general more expensive units
Defensive strategies have higher amounts of ATGMs, defensive infantry, and overall cheaper units

Arty:
AI will now pool up mortars and arty for more concentrated barrages
Adjusted AI artillery targeting priorities
AI will now try to use smoke artillery on your units much more often
-AI now has proper buying rules, and has differing priorities/missions for mortars, light howitzers, heavy howitzers, and MLRS

Airstrikes:
Adjusted Airstrike parameters
Adjusted valid targets by plane type, airstrikes should now be more flexible in their targets (ex: bombers/at planes will now be able to target an AA units, soft skinned vehicles, logistics, artillery, etc so long as the AI has sight)
Toned down AA plane missions, should be less oppressive against helicopters

Fixes:
Should have cut down on amount of AFK AI units dramatically.
Got rid of unwanted vanilla AI behaviors that persisted through the backup strategies
General spending priority rework
Removed command units from attack pushes directly, as it was causing an issue where the command unit would flee an dthe whole attack follows
Several other behaviors that were not functioning as intended had values corrected, fixes made, etc.

That should have fixed the crashing issues, let me know if you come across any more. Unfortunately I also had to temporarily disable the repair speed modifiers and the infantry transport supply.

It should be good to play now, as always let me know if you have any more issues! Unfortunately, since I do not have the DLC yet for myself, I do not think that the new DLC units will be working properly. Apologies for the inconvenience. :chivsalute:
