@brunocarvalhopaula, I finally figured out the problem. Sorry, you were right. I played without the mod, went to the main menu, turned on this mod and created a new game. A move can be pressed at any time. I completely quit the game, created a new game, there is no bug

after the new patch from Amplitude dropped, I ran into an issue with project files of my mod having a different version from Unity version of modding tools. I patched Unity engine following the official instructions from unity site, but no luck so far.

i see you managed to fix the issue — could you share how you did it? You can DM me. Would really appreciate any help! 🙏

I rolled back my version and now the VIP pack is "outdated". This recent October 5 update completely screwed up all of the top tier mods i was running. Really sucks :(

I don't know if you can do it here on Steam on a personal basis, @Lynxxyarly, but if you can't, then your best option is to download VIP 5.48 on mod.io and put it in your documents/humankind/community folder

Is there a way to roll this update back to the previous one. This is the only one updated among the rest I'm using and now I am stuck between only using this one on a new save or give up my old save with all my other mods that were working.

UPDATE: I managed to fix my problem with the modtools (thanks shakee) so the mod is updated and playable again with the new HK update.

@KotNad and @PermalIIaoi7: Amplitude pushed a new game update (you can see their message as a pinned comment in the steam forums) and that update made the mod incompatible with the current game version. You need to either play unmodded or use a rollback version of the game. Also, the modtools were not updated so I can't update the mod for this new version.

Same error as Kotnad. Tried uninstalling, reinstalling, restarting game, restarting pc, verifying game files, no luck. No other mods were used prior, no other mods used now. Love the mod, would like to be able to continue playing with it

Hey, Im having trouble loading the mod. It says there is mod mismatch and there was a problem loading the mods so the modlist is reset. The thing is, I have 0 mods loaded, it happens on an empty modlist. I tried loading a different mod before this one and it still gave the same error. I did verify the game files but to no avail. And the language error is unlikely to be the cause since my display language is english. Could I get help?

@Drizzle yeah I just got the same bug of no neolithic legacy if playing on normal or faster. Works fine on slow and endless

Hello @johnyoga. The mod should work fine with Multiplayer, but only if all players have the mod on and are on exactly the same version. If there is a version mismatch and/or someone runs into the MISSING UIMAPPER BUG (check the mod description) you're gonna have a bad time

Hey, I seem to be having a strange bug while running this mod In which Nomad units (like Hunnic horde) have food upkeep despite them specifically being designed to not add to food consumption. Has anyone else encountered this bug or found a workaround?

Yes, @Solkundor, it is intended. As per the patch notes, "Researching Technologies from previous Eras will cost 50% more Science per Era difference". This is intended to discourage rushing through eras without researching most (or all) of what you want in the previous era.

The late Industrial Era tech is more expensive than the early Contemporary Era tech?

There's not much more to it, except that those civics can generate grievances to empires with the opposite choice, and IIRC AI can get positive or negative relationship modifiers from them, making them more keen to ally aligned empires and wage war against opposite ones.

Some civics are tagged in the code as "international civics" and show up in those bubbles (among several other efects), but for those not tagged like that I don't know another way.

Do you have the TWR DLC? You can check when deciding civics to vote on in the congress sessions.

Anyone know why i can only see certain civics other players picked? I am talking about the bubbles with each player on top of each choice. They seem to never show up in certain civics during the whole game, or is it because no other player just picks those civics at all? like the first 2 civics you unlock in the start of the game

I'll try to find a tooltip to add it, but to summarize, Growth is how much of a pop you gain per turn. Its what surplus food turns into: Every turn, you gain X% of a pop in your growth bar, based on how much surplus food you have.

Growth bonuses multiply that percentage. Say X surplus food yield 50% of a pop per turn and you have +50% growth gain from bonuses. This means you get 75% (50% + half of 50%) of a pop per turn instead.

Yes, this mod makes pop buyout AT LEAST about 75% better than vanilla, but in practice you can get it much better than double

@Pechpito: It works with Single player and I've tried to make the AI understand the changes as better as I can

@niccodigge: You don't need a mod to choose starting era, you just need to enable the devtools. Here is how you do it: Open the properties of the game on Steam and add “--allowmodtools” to the Launch Options. You can see a visual of it at https://medias.games2gether.com/forums/the-cat-o-nine-tales/1705055450771.png . Once the devtools are enabled, you can choose the starting era freely and do much more.
