Oh I do have the old version before its January 2025 update and working as intended with no issues. I'll be looking forward to try out this new version soon and hopefully, it won't have the same thing happened

That was the main plan when I started to rebuild it but I don't doubt it does since I think I've hit the limit again already. I'll keep this version up and I think someone here stated they have an older version saved if you still have trouble with it.

@PlayerZero That was I've saved a legacy version of this mod, a.k.a before it was updated to this recent one. That basically fixed my issue

Just wanted to ask, I've been having crashes to main menu recently, and after reading these comments. I'm thinking the issue has to do with this mod, but i'm not entirely sure, have other people mentioned having just a crash to main menu while playing with this mod installed?

How do i turn on those radial menu lines?

this addon hit me in the feels man. just beat the Parish for fun on normal causer i did not want a challenge this late at night. and upon viewing the helicopter flying away, i heard Rochelle in both of my ears say "Hey.. kill all sons of bitches, right?" and idk but for some reason that hit me kinda hard.

Lawd. Seems like this one's also plagued with vocalizer issues too. What's going on?

I know Manacat already did it but can you add a talker line when a survivor friendly fire someone they'll automatically say sorry? if yes then that would be a blast since I you both Manacat talker and your talker causing some you know voice line are getting pile up so yeah you get the idea

anyone know if Helrika's Vocalizer works with this?

@Lochlan its all good. I still love your mod because of expressive and more lively the survivors are thanks to your talker, friendo. I'll still use your legacy version (pre 4.0) since that doesn't cause the issue I and others are having.

@The God Emperor Of America The only few VScript I had are like quality of life ones and beta animations. Other than that, that's all I installed

Yeah it's no biggie if it can't be pinpointed!

I could try slowly dissecting my mod to try and pin down the issue (If it's even my fault in the first place.) And try to fix it from there.

But if that doesn't work then I don't know what to do, and I'm sorry for that.

@RogerDatSoldier It's for sure certain VScript addons cause I was having the same issue I had to delete them all and troubleshoot but I never figured out which one it was.

I have this issue too as well. After you updated it to 4.0, my game suddenly kicks me out from the main menu and it doesn't happen in online but also singleplayer as well.

I think it has something to do with a conflict with some VScript addons I sub but yeah, I hope you can able to fix this because this is a major issue you had, Lochlan. For now I'll stick with the old version (pre 4.0 one)

it crashes my game after a few minutes a campaing starts, probably because i have 202 mods, but without this talker, my game never crashes, just when i use this talker, why??

Is there a way to map buttons to use more voice lines? I used a mod for years that allowed me to do death sceams, so on and so forth, but this only seems to use the base talking buttons Z and X and doesn't allow for button mapping? I could be missing something but idk.

I use L4B2 to revert the bots' weapon preferences to how they were pre-TLS (also because I like playing as Francis). It gets sorta irksome hearing him in displeasure whenever I pick up a sniper rifle. Any chance I could revert only that part so everyone has a positive remark of picking up a sniper rifle instead of just Zoey and Ellis? The rest can stay as is - I love the newly-added line of Ellis that makes Coach laugh.

For some odd reason in Dead Air (levels 3 & 4 atm) I crash when I exit the saferoom, no idea if this happens to the other survivors but this mostly happened to me with Louis

With Zoey I haven't even crashed when I left the saferoom in map 3, weird

Yeah I deleted a TON of my campaigns and checked for anything else to be sure such as vscript talkers etc so far its been good.

So seems like when paired with other talker things like custom maps with talker scripts make it hit the limit? Not sure, if you keep away from a lotta mods like that you should be alright.

I run pretty much nothing except my talker on my server and it's been smooth sailing. Not sure what I can do from my end except remove stuff which I obviously don't want to do.

Also about the subtitles - yeah, in the process of redoing everything from scratch for an update later down the line.

Btw Lochlan, are you also gonna update the Modified Subtitles mod? Since I was watching your L4D2 videos (not the talker previews) and I see that on those videos (L4D Moments Part 8 & 9) some subtitled are a bit different than the ones that are uploaded here, like the infected closed captions (Horde incoming, SI noises, etc)

I think that's what I was getting as well I fully removed every vscript mod that I had i can't confirm which one though.

@Lochlan fixed it by deleting ALL of my vscript mods and one of them was causing an issue.

No idea whats causing it removed all my vscript mods.

@Lochlan So i'm testing again I have fully purged my vscripts and fully deleted my Left 4 Lib and other mods for it I will post again with an update.

And where can I find the error at "if" it happens again through the console?

Same for me, I loaded a weapon map (like the Whitaker's Gun Store) with L4B2 and L4L, and it works for me

Everything's fine on my end, Gabox stated that they fixed it on Left 4 Lib's workshop page. Maybe try there?
