TLDR: Food poisoning is cheaper than anesthetic.
My colony enjoyed the claptastic journey to the outhouse as well.
It started right after my 3 Space Marines left the colony to go on a mission and just before 40 Erin Hyenas ( Acid Spitting Alpha Animales ) decided to test my non-existent defenses.
Everybody brought their brown pants and 7 colonists with a avarage shooting skill of 3 armed with pistols and shotguns and explosive diarrhea fought for their lives. ( the pacifist and the brawler don't count )
Everything turned red and green, especially after my Mechanitor decided to leave and I had to imprison her.
Took me a few ingame days to realise why my cleaner mechs stopped working.
I gave up defense and retreated behind my granite doors, waiting for my Marines to come back.
I forbade all meals, built a Paste Dispenser and turned off all cooking jobs.
They wounded Hyenas started to die off and the miasma of rotten corpses filled the air.
After six days my Marines came home, gunned the remaining, starving animals down and startet cleaning ...
I then sold all meals to the next caravan .. I am now slowly rebuilding stocks while keeping claptrap away from everything food related.
It was Glorious.
Claptrap is a great replacement for the Minion Mod :)
He needs to dance.
