Neme: Probably because you are not using the right workbench. There is only one place you can spawn it in, its in the description and is the Oil Well near FJ Warner.

I've Run a full test, hit oil at 62m, Everything is still working perfectly.

i cant spawn it from the workbench, why is that?

How do I turn the physics to high?

ishowmeat - Could be glitched or devs could of changed something that broke it.
I dont really play the game much anymore.
Try it in a new creative game and see if it does the same thing. If you can confirm it is broken and not just a one off glitch then I will fix it.
Remember it only works if physics are on high.

@Cava You can use additional rods by transporting and loading it by whinch and magnet. Pipe Truck also included in alta creation

I subbed almost the day it was put on the workshop. the only issue ive had is when Stormworks are having problems. Its my go to rig, walk into the control room, press the screen, go off doing other designs and missions, pop back set the ovens off, then ive got fuel for all my needs, it works great on other land oil points and ive never had problems in med physics. When im in game mode its a must for me, I do as many cargo runs as quick as I can to get the money together to get the Rig up and running. Amazing creation Benthedaddy ;) Thanks.......

l0gunat0r - Oil is anywhere from 50m - 120m deep. It can take longer than 15 minutes. That's just how the devs made it

well done. I can't imagine the amount of work required. I may upgrade the elevator but this thing is amazing

I have Alta Gate addon, and I can run a hose directly from the storage tanks to the pipeline, I LOVE this rig!!! Its a little slow in the process of the rod additions, but thats not a complaint!!!
