That's intentional, I divided the kingdoms based on continents since humanity itself is not united. They usually unite and become a massive power, however. I did a similar thing in Svartalfheim since the idea of if the inhabitants were dwarves or dark elves in the mythology is still kind of debated, so I represented both there
