Also, button 3 from the command chair is grayed out. It says "Sorter Ore Storage". Could this be the issue? That something isn't running that should?

I just built this and found a few things odd. The lifting piston is at 4 meters but the settings are set to 2.8 meters. Dropping it to 2.8 puts the tire onto the road and the welders up front can now weld the new road. The other issue is that the drill "wall" advances about halfway and then stops. The timers will eventually have the merge block disconnect and the front assembly clangs. I did not have the issue of the welders being attached to the road. Everything was too high. Do I need to seed the cargo containers before starting it up? If so, how many of what and which cargo container? Thanks, this has been fun.

I have just RE-UPLOADED this BP and have tested it thoroughly to make sure it works and so far its gone past 7+ builds... check the notes :)
I had all SE World settings 'default' when building this design on Pertam :)

@cybervampirekid I only tested this design the other week and it works fine...
Are you disconnecting the welders and grinders at the rear of the design to seperate the grids?
Are you pasting the design into your world or building it manually through a projector?
When pasting in, does the Drill Head bounce as shown in my newer tutorial on this design showing its not a static grid like the rest of it?

How did you get the covered drill not to jam as the blocks in front of the top most drill gets blocked ?

@eternal_mpei - When more than 1 Tunneller design is connected on the same grid then YES, they both need block name changes so they wont trigger each other etc.
In terms of having a Turning capability, I don't think its worth as it will add complex Hinges & Rotors that may cause wobble etc. when its more simple to deconstruct and rebuild elsewhere as the rear end just represents your Base's build capacity as the drill mines 99% ores it needs to build the tunnel floor/walls/roof.

Best tuneller i've seen. Should I rename tunneler parts if I want run 2 or more tunnelers on one grid? Also I have challenging suggestion to improve it: it would be perfect if tunneler 1) can rotate 90 degrees on command, then continue working, 2) can activate move mode or smth to be moved to another working area.

had to play without mods cuz i dont know which caused it and grinded off the drill part, now it works :steamhappy:

Onki, I can Confirm this design and others I have that are Similar DO WORK Without the Multi Grid Projector Plug-In (not a mod) :) I just tested with and without it and both work fine as i knew it would in Theory :)

Wrtek, few questions if possible so i can find the issue and fix asap...
do you have creative mode tools on?, do you have components available or constantly 'assembling' to make the floor etc?, how did you come across this problem (did u paste the BP/item in or build it into your world etc?) is the projector on and filled with the correct blueprint? Did you fully follow the Tutorial I have available on this Design? do you have the BP locked to Grid when you placed it?
and lastly (off the top of my head) did you Disconnect the rear welder & grinder as shown in the Tutorial? (seems like the latter if its not building the floor, watch my "Uploading Designs - Live Stream" and you will notice my issue, also shown in the Tutorial)

without mod it didnt work

You need to include the Blueprint in the projector

i have a weird problem if i activate this blueprint it shows everything except the digger unit, only the 2 connectors and everything above the second connector is not shown thats for my survival game

but if it try it in sandbox it shows the whole thing... weird some one a solution for this?
