This is an amazing mod and one of the unique ones. Since there are no mods like this that focuses on magic/wizardry design.

Such a waste... I just wish you let the people update it with unofficial version.

very specific request but since you've stopped development on this, and theres no ETA on the remake, would it be possible to get a stand alone for 1.5 of the wizard? Theres only like one mod that has another one but it looks like dog shit and i really would like a wizard hat for my current mod list.

i am eagerly waiting for an update. As some one that has been trying to put together an in depth Fantasy Medieval mod pack i could so use mods like this to bring in a little more Magic. I would love for a mod to REALLY over haul all the Psycast stuff as well to make it Fantasy Medieval magic more than Psi powers.

I think it's because people keep on forking their mods. Every time you fork a mod, the tines of the fork embed themselves into the original mod, so you have a row of little holes in the mod that can let in air, and eventually that can lead to decay.

People (Fewher) need to understand that mod authors are people too and can not only experience burnout, but they are not obligated to support future updates to the actual game. Be thankful that someone else is taking up the helm, and be patient.

It is fairly simple to go in and modify the .xml file at [Your Rimworld Workshop Folder Here]\2931612599\1.4\Defs\ThingDefs_Misc\Armor. Simply access the cape file and search for the "mass" parameter and change it to your liking. Hope it helps people having problems with it!

please adjust the cloak weights theyre basically unusable with armor weapons and all that. the weight is comparable with mail and plate.

The melee weapons and armor are CE patched, runic guns and grimoires are not. I recommend removing them with Cherry Picker if anyone wants to use this with CE.

Are the traders supposed to only have kibble, cloth, herbal medicine and amber for sale? It's like 5th trader with just those items on them, nothing else appears in the pool and they are not buying anything else.

A simple cloth cape weighs 12 kilos, should it not be 1.2? That is nearly as much as a full plate armour set.

Also, can a fix be released for the Royal Plate Armor to be reduced down to 170 metal, instead of 1770? xD

Unsure if it's just me but the cloaks and capes from this mod cover colonist's faces when they face forward but it looks as intended from the sides

You can use Medieval Overhaul: Toggleable Stuff and revert the ressource generation back to Vanilla, as well as the wood and cloth mechanic and you can disable the research schematics.

is there any chance somebody could make a standalone version of this mod with only the armors? I don't like using Medieval Overhaul because of all the incompatibilities but these are some of the only cloaks I've seen that look genuinely good

Love this mod, but I have a slight issue! The simple/royal capes both weigh 12.0kg and the royal plate armour uses 1770x metallic - Is this intentional

@Rex705 wands and tomes are not guns for you? Then work basically the same and we had guns since 12th centuary. Pretty much medieval.

Dang, why do people always put guns in medieval mods? I play Medieval to get away from guns for epic mele sword battles. Guns are op in Medieval and make all other weapons pointless. How about runic crossbows instead?

Oh well it's just my opinion guns have no place in medieval and defeats the point. Cherrypicker can remove the guns for me so I guess it works out.

Fixed issue with Simple Cape recipe
Simple & Royal Cape StuffEffectMultiplierInsulation_Cold has been corrected
