@thescrungler I've been struggling to figure out why my stuff kept crashing on linux as well. That's a big help to know what to hunt down. Hope the author fixes this.

Any plans on releasing more races? (Or making this one playable?)

I actually found the correct issue!
This was crashing at world gen for me on the new linux version. In this case, the crash was being caused by the filenames in "graphics/images" not being the same case as was being referenced in the "tile_page_drow.txt" file. In linux, drow_armor and Drow_armor are two different files so the references weren't lining up causing a crash. Another case of linux being difficult haha. It's an easy fix, you just have to make sure the file being referenced is the exact same, down to the capital letter placement. Easy way is to just make everything lower case.

I also found and fixed this issue in your Moon, Sun, and Wood elves. It might have also been in Wild elves, but I can't remember exactly. After fixing the civ shows up and works as expected.

Off all the elf races dark elves should be the ones to be playable since they live underground
So why not make them playable?

so only 1) is a bug. not very important.... anyway, thanks for the mod! greatly appreciated!

i may have found some bugs....
1) the name of the mod says "playable" instead of "non-playable"
2) all dwarf settlements on the world map are drow settlements, or at least that's what it says on the map

thanks for the mods! I have been wanting to add dark elves and dark dwarves to animal men, or whatever, that would have them occasionally enter the caverns and attack, just never have the time to figure it all out. since I keep playing instead.

Next will probably be Duergar.
