Also prepatched this mod to prevent Cosmoteer from complaining again again when Cosmoteer 0.30.0b, 0.30.0c, 0.30.0d, 0.30.0e, 0.30.0f, 0.30.0g, 0.30.0h, 0.30.1, 0.30.2 and 0.31.0 get released.
Upped supported version number to hopefully get rid of the game erroneously thinking this mod is no longer compatible.
Previous versions of Cosmoteer will no longer work with this mod due to changes in how asteroids are spawned.
These asteroids will also have less iron and less copper in them.
Similar to what you posted in the other add-on thread:
This mod needs Mineable Megaroids active to function properly.
This error
---> System.Collections.Generic.KeyNotFoundException: The given key 'SirCampalot.asteroid_1b' was not present in the dictionary.
indicates you have not got it active, it's why it's throwing this error.
Enable Mineable Megaroids and the error should be fixed.
The total number of asteroids is unchanged, but hyperium will be more common. I may tweak the spawn rates of these new asteroids at a later date.
My apologies for the late response.
Remember, you can download any of them and enable/disable them from the mod menu during your current playthrough to affect the next starsystem you visit without the risk of breaking your current playthrough :)
And if you think the boost provided by any particular add-on is not sufficient (or perhaps you like the boost, but you think the boost it provides is a bit too much), please let me know :)
Thank you for your feedback :)
Feel free to give feedback on the add-ons as it is fairly easy for me to create new ones with different features. And all these add-ons are combineable with each other so you can mix and match to your hearts content :P
I tested this already, they should all work separately from each other, so all the extra asteroids are additive.
Of course you'll need to either start a new game or move to a new star system for the increased amount of asteroids to spawn.
And if you think a resource is a bit too common or too uncommon for your tastes, you can save, go to the mod menu, switch off or on any of these add-ons, and load your savegame and the moment you visit a new star system you'll have more of the asteroids that you prefer. So you can tweak the spawn rates of these asteroids for each star system you visit if you want to.
It's quite flexible and savegame compatible.
Thank you!
One of the reasons why I made these add-ons, is because people have asked me before to do certain balance changes. But these may be conflicting, like one person wanting more hyperium and the next maybe wanting less.
With add-ons such as these, people can balance their own playthrough better and with great flexibility and everyone will get what they want :)
And as these add-ons are fairly easy to modify and distribute, if people request certain balance changes I can very quickly create more add-ons tailoring for more specific needs :).
