Wow thank you! Mine was on Vulkan and I switched to Dx11 and it worked!

According to comments, changing vulkan to dx11 in the paradox launcher may fix the crash. Since I’ve never encountered the crash myself, I don’t really have any other solution if this doesn’t work.

I've tried the normal version and then this version of IR Terrain and it just won't work. It just crashes my game before it gets to the main menu. I guess it's the same as

The Mod seems to crash my game when ever i load it, and this is the only mod i have installed any fix?

I know this is probably a silly question but does this work with map expansion mods? I doubt it but maybe this mod replaces textures instead of rebuilds the map. I dunno.

I noticed some incongruous dark green textures on the mountains in Norway, which should appear in forested areas, yet there were no trees there. I replaced it with a light green plain texture.

I have changed it. When I said I made the cliffs greyer, I actually replaced it with a gray stone texture, not recolouring

can you please fix the coastel cliffs now? i think you put the wrong asset in for cliffs, changing it will probably fix instead of recolouring

now that looks very nice, the mountains are much better, the cliffs are slightly better, but honestly i think you might have used the wrong asset or something for the cliffs after you updated the first time? because I think just resetting the cliff asset to whatever it was before would fix it, the texture of the cliffs seems completely different, apart from the colour which is green of course, that could be an easy fix if it turns out the wrong asset was used, but the mountains now look much better, you can tweak that in your own time however you like, but it now looks fine and i wont annoy you about the mountains anymore lol, just giving a headsup about the cliff texture/colour issue

I uploaded a new version that made the coastal cliffs more grey and the mountains more green. The mountains still look a bit unnatural, but I tried my best, changing the colors is easy, but restarting the game after each change is too time-consuming.

perfect, the wetland issue is fixed, thank you very much. However, it seems another issue arose since that last update, the grey cliiffs you see on the coasts in the previous update are now replaced with green cliffs now? if you have discord i can show you a side by side picture of the before and after update, apart from that, the game looks completely fine and is perfect, i still think the amount of brown in the mountains is overdone by a bit, i think it looks completely fine and should stay, but its slightly overdone in some places, my dc username is rvwr._. if you're interested in the side by side comparison of the difference in cliffs being green now instead of grey and white normally

Wetlands issues fixed
I changed the mountain textures in last update. Previously, the mountain textures in this mod were the same white stone as the original IR Terrain, which looked drier then now one and made mountainous places like the Balkans look like only stone, with no green vegetation at all. So I picked another image from Imperator Rome as the mountain texture, which has both rock and vegetation, a compromise. The other more wet and greener textures in Imperator Rome are made entirely of vegetation and don't look like mountains.

another annoying thing is that the mountains are very brown and dryish? the peaks are white and grey but most the mountains in the game are sort of brown and dryish? what causes this, because apart from this the mod looks amazing, will still use it but plwase figure out if this is intended

mod looks fine but causes wetlands to flicker alot when moving, sort of white sparkling like the stars go to a wetland and move around and you'll see what i mean, amazing mod though - if mod author can fix this mod is amazing and have no issues

Try this and put it lower in the mod loading order and see if the game can be loaded normally.

I'm not sure why but this causes my game to get stuck loading, I've tested the original version and that one doesn't cause any problems but this one has the loading screen stay up forever, I'd appreciate any help on this!

Hi, i was using this mod with: Interaction Icon project lite, OBP's Map, DaddyPika's Graphical Map Overhaul, Paganism plus and it seemed to cause the game to get stuck loading up. as soon as i removed this mod everything loaded fine. Not too sure why this would be

@zkahnman While I havent tried this mod I use the original one still but you can always go into the mod and change things, also make sure u load it at the top of mods but either ways its due to a mod you have that uses the game files

@fantasy 295, your mod I am sad to say, seems to interact with unofficial patch causing the crash. Game works without it, crashes once intro music starts when I have it on, which is weird since no map is loaded at that point. May have to do with character models?

@Fantasy295 As of now is just outdated as far as i know, but idk the reason for it. To modify as in change from the original mod, yeah a lot of the colors would look better if it was based on HIP from ck2.
