Love the craft, they fill out the roster for both factions. Any chance of them getting update for modular craft? they cant compete without as they dont even have CM atm.

The new craft are cool and all but I absolutely LOVE the Odyessy, Thing is like a clipper on steroids and works amazingly as both a missile or rocket platform

Nevermind i'm dumb, the name of the Mod in the loader is Praetorian Cruiser and not AvO, i was looking for the wrong thing

I think the Praetorian looks cool. Not every ship has to be balls to the walls ridiculous.

Yeah, i think the Praetorian could use a revamp in style and stats (like the hull bonuses). The corsair is also quite the odd hull in shape

I love light carriers, though the Levy arguably fits the Light Carrier bill (due to its capabilities) while the Corsair is the Escort Carrier

Apparently the recent update broke all modded hulls radar profiles. Its a simple fix but I haven't gotten to it yet.

Why can a Frontline only detect it at 2.44 km? I assume it's a bug

Bug Report. The Praetorians hull modifiers seem to be decreasing spread instead of increasing it, is that intentional?

How balanced is this ship? With a big dragonfly and two small whiplashs I can get it to go around 26m/s and just under 40m/s at flank. That’s only slightly slower than a Vauxhall with a big-dragon/small-whip combo. Plus it has 35cm of armour, 4 C4 mounts and the same PD mounts as an Axford.

Doesn’t seem that balanced. One suggestion I have is decreasing the armour to 30cm. (The designers had to skimp on armour to fit the heavy guns while keeping that speed). As this ship is supposed to be balanced right?

So it’s a cruiser meant to be inbetween the Vauxhall and Axford? With 35cm of armour.

@Cooldude probably something to do with the sheer number of guns it can bring. It can easily be negated with GPCs though.

+20% spread? Why? Anyway, definitely an interesting design. I can see mk65’s being very effective on it.

The mod is functional, but its sprites do not work with plasma weapons effect. I cant really verify myself if the plasma works on it or not, but other than that, it is fully functional

The mod should still function, it will just say it's out of date until i can update its version.

Hope this gets updated. One of my favorite ships.

The bottom C1 mount is intersecting one of the reactor compartments and there's a massive empty space in the middle of the cruiser that some compartments can be moved into

For a moment I thought this was a fleet file with some flavourtext, since there are a few of those. Boy was I wrong. only three barrels less than a gun battleship... wow

The Flavor Text is perfect, seems just like Vanilla

A bit faster, more flexible weapon mounts, and slightly less flat-slab armour than the Axford.
I dig it, both form and function, and will probably be replacing my Axfords with these...

My only issue is those engines are so loud and you start to lose some of the game audio cues if your camera is anywhere near the ships XD
At least 3-5x the volume of any base game engines.
